Remember back in the day when we would show pictures of our crushes to our best friends or cousins? We would pull up their Facebook albums or scroll through Instagram to find pictures. And if you’re anything like me, you would keep scrolling to find a photo that actually looked like them. Now, if I’m being honest, and, you know, my cousins are honest, and they’re straight up.
And they would look at me with their big eyes on the verge of an eye roll and say, Him? Really him? Like, finally when I found, I thought, a good picture. They would look and go, Really? Then I would keep scrolling to try and find a better picture. Way back in the day, we didn’t really have videos to show more of their personalities, hear their voices, or see more of what they’re, what they’re like, right?
No, we were praying to find a decent photo captured on a Canon Powershot that just happened to be uploaded into an album titled, Drinks Up or Summer 2012 that his sister or best friends would upload. Or, honestly, even his mom. If you want to see what someone really looks like, you gotta creep the moms on Facebook, right?
Like, they’re ruthless. And they, uh, they’re not just posting photos. But entire galleries of events and holidays and if you’re on a mission to find something, we’ll find it, right? Well, back to today’s topic and how this will all make sense in a sec. I want you to take a moment to think about this concept.
Have you ever met someone, maybe a crush, or maybe you’re playing matchmaker and trying to set up your friends for a connection? And you know how amazing they are in real life. They’re vibrant, fun, and their personality makes them even more attractive. Then, when you share a photo of them online, it’s sort of blah.
Like the energy you feel when you’re next to them isn’t translating. In fact, it may even give weird vibes, right? Now, I’m talking about looking at a group photo with a crush and pointing out his height, his beard, or external things about them. I’m not talking about those things, but I’m talking about their energy.
It’s easy to make first impressions and quick judgments when you’re trying to sell that this guy is a great catch, but your friends are making fun of you for the only picture that you have of him is him holding a fish, right? So I challenge you, I challenge you to think about you, your business and your online presence.
When you’re in your element, providing services for your clients, living your best life and showcasing your magic in person, does that same energy translate online? Is there alignment with who you are in real life? And how you’re being perceived online with a photography background, it can be really easy to showcase our work online.
Right? I mean, I can post photos I’ve taken and potential clients, couples or brands can see those photos and make a decision to hire me based on their interests, their budgets, their preferences and style if they like what they see. And we’re a good fit within their budget. They’re going to work with me, right?
Like, that’s kind of a no brainer. But what happens when dozens and dozens of local photographers have a similar style? What am I sharing online to prove why I’m the best option for them? What is it about my personality, my story, my habits, my own personal desires, and my mission that makes them not only want to work with me, but to sign that contract and invest in me.
Now let’s bring the focus to you for a sec. Okay. I’m like, I’m speaking to you. Oh my gosh, this is going to be so much fun. And I want to ask you, are past clients praising your work and sharing their experiences? Are they raving about you to their co workers, their family and friends? Do they pull up your website and social media to tell their friends, just trust me, it’s worth the investment?
Are they having to convince their friends to learn more about you, just like I used to do with crushes and bad yearbook photos or sports team photos that I’d have to dig up back in the day, right? If you have past clients, current clients, family and friends rooting for you, you’re already ahead of the game.
They’re advocating for you and excited to share about their experiences. You’ll have a way higher conversion rate. To work with their friends simply because they vouch for you. What about strangers online that know nothing about you? What if some of your dusty blogs are still generating SEO pop ups for their searches and maybe they do come through a referral based on their recent searches and maybe some mutual friends, but what happens when they don’t have a cheerleader or a referral and they’re only given what you have put online for them to learn about you and what it’s really like to work with you?
How can we embody who we are in person with what we’re sharing online? Does your brand truly align with your offers, your client experience, and the magic you’re really made of? This is what this episode is about, babe. Let’s break it down. What does it mean to embody something or to feel embodied? What exactly are we supposed to embody? What is embodiment? Like, all these embody things, right? Like, what does this mean? To me, it’s the act of holding something. Or, to create something tangible from an idea or feeling. So for example, I may not always feel courageous or brave, but when it’s time to step on stage or speak at an event, I can embody five seconds of bravery that then kicks into confidence and my ability to speak with power and the bravery continues until I could make a huge sigh of relief after my speech or presentation.
Just like today’s episode’s title, Embody Visibility. How can we truly be seen at the core of who we are and how we serve without all the fluff and accolades? How can we let others know us, really know us, by sharing our business online and in person? It breaks my heart to meet a new business bestie in person, to feel their passion, see the sparkle in their eye, and instantly feel a connection.
Then when I go follow them online, I’m not seeing their energy translate to their social media or their website. It’s honestly sort of a letdown to see them shine so bright in person. Only to see outdated posts or like their social media isn’t living up to how they really are in real life. Now, I want to be very clear when I share this experience.
I’m not shaming them for not having recent brand photos or for not posting every day. That is not the message. That is not the message at all. I hope this message lands to share that if there’s a disconnect with what you do, how you do it, and how passionate you are about the brand you’re building, then it’s time for some embodiment exercises.
and implementation ideas to help find alignment for you and your brand. I love a good list. So let’s break down five ways we can find alignment and embody this next level for us. Then after we feel like we’re in a groove with who we are, what we stand for, and what we’re offering, Then we can get into the action items to get all those good vibes and your beautiful energy online to share.
Plus, I hope you stick around for the end because I’ll be workshopping an upcoming coaching opportunity I’ll be releasing this year. I’m so excited and I would love your input on this as we get it up and running. Let’s get started with five ways we can find alignment to embody how we want to not only feel, but how we want to be perceived online for our brand and business.
Number one, spark creativity. Before we get lost in the sauce of our offers, what’s next, big picture planning and goal setting, I suggest letting your inner child come out and play. Do you have a passion for painting, but you just don’t make time to paint anymore, or to get creative? If you’re a photographer, when is the last time you took your camera out just to take photos for fun?
Like, I’m not even kidding, right? Have you gone on a hike recently? Have you gone to one of your nieces or nephews or even one of your kids sports games? Are you taking your big camera out to photograph that? Let’s start here. Get your body, mind, and soul into a space that lets you think, lets you play, and relax.
Just have some fun and get creative. For me, this is my best ideas come through anyway. So I love my time with Eliana. She is literally my little twin. She’s exactly 30 years younger than me. Oh my gosh. She’s like my little spirit child. I love her dearly. And I’m not even kidding. Every time I spend time with her.
I make money. Like, I get into that creative zone. We’re doing crafts. We’re outside at the park playing. We’re going on our nature walks. I truly rest and get creative with her. It’s a safe space for both of us to be creative, and we just have so much fun. It sparks so much joy, and I’m absolutely carving more time to spend time with her for all that kind of stuff this year.
Number two, get into some water. Now, I know different signs connect with water more deeply, and I’m still learning all about human design, more of our zodiac signs, and all the woo woo magic. From my experience, when I sit in water, and for me, that’s jumping off the boat to float around the lake out here in the desert.
I love that. Mike and I take the boat out. It’s just so much fun. We can hang out in the pool with family or even taking baths and long showers. Now, I actually prefer, I love showers every day, right? Everyday showers are great. But when I really need to just like have a Zen moment, there’s something about being submerged in water.
Oh my gosh, it’s just so beautiful. And you know, it’s, it just helps me feel more connected to my body. Obviously, there’s a huge pun on this, but that’s when the ideas are really flow, right? Like the water is flowing around me and we just get so much more connected to our thoughts, our mind, and our body.
So I totally would start there.
Number three, start moving. Get up. blood flowing. Did you love sports growing up? Maybe mix up your daily evening walks for a basketball game at the park with your kids. I mean, I’m not even kidding. If you don’t have a basketball that has air in it right now, blow that puppy up or order one on Amazon.
I think you can find a basketball for like 20 bucks. I hope so. And just go out and have fun, go have fun, go pick up a pickleball game and get your blood moving. Get your heart pumping. This is your gentle reminder to get out in nature too. Tap into your intuition, listen to the birds, listen to the wind, and ground yourself under some real dirt, right?
Anytime I’m in nature, in fact, I saw something the other day that talked about a nature bath, which really just means walking through the trees or like walking in nature. I thought that was such a funny, like way to express that. And it’s true though, like we need to tap back into that serenity and back into being human, like being like a real human on this earth and, um, not just being sucked up into our phones and our work, right?
So when we can get into those moments, once again, that’s when the ideas flow. That’s when we can truly listen. And this leads me to number four, prayer and journaling. I hope this resonates in a way that feels aligned for you. So, whether you have a faith in God, you are a little bit more spiritual, and you have the connection to, you know, earth and nature, whatever that, whatever that is, you can enter exactly how you feel.
I do know that sometimes we can feel so much pressure when we’re pursuing that, like the next big challenge, right? When we really need to take a beat. Listen, journal, and receive. I challenge you to journal, what’s next? Who do you need to become for this next level? Maybe, more importantly, what do you need to stop doing to reach that next milestone?
For me, and I’ll be blatantly honest, I need to get off my phone, I am a doom scroller. Like I will just scroll and scroll and scroll. And I can laugh about it now, but it’s crippling. I’ve been in this. The thick of this comparison game for a while and I just need to turn it off like I just need to like clear out my receptors and just like have a clean slate like what do you call that when you have to clear out your cash or cache whatever like I need to wipe my history and like just start fresh, right?
And journaling and having some time alone to do that, whether that’s meditating or praying, whatever feels like I said, whatever feels aligned for you. This is your sign, babe. Do it. Okay, and number five, I mentioned that some of these would be easy peasy. I would say number four and number five are getting more difficult.
Number five, I have listed here, ask your peers. Whoo! Now this is definitely a roller coaster one where you’re like, creeping up the top, click, click, click, click, click, and then you’re ready to down like, this is gonna get kind of scary and uncomfortable. But I’m here for it and I challenge you. This one can feel awkward or annoying, but I promise the feedback you’ll receive will be priceless.
Now, for this to really take shape and to give you constructive criticism, which, by the way, that doesn’t always mean negative feedback, I suggest reaching out to five different people in three different categories. Trust me, I know that sounds scary and overwhelming to ask 15 to 20 people to ask questions about yourself.
I get it. But when you break this down into categories, I promise it’ll all make sense. So, okay, here’s the challenge. So when I’m talking about asking your peers, I’m literally asking you to reach out to your favorite people. Okay, like these are your inner circle people. These are your friends and your family.
And we’re gonna ask them feedback that they may have and things they may know about ourselves and our business. Okay, so first, let’s start off with some questions and I would love for you to like write these down. They’ll be in the show notes, but like this is a perfect example to just challenge yourself.
Okay, so a couple questions. What do you think I’m best at? When you need some help with something, I’m the first person that comes to mind when you can like add a blank there, right? So like when, you know, what am I an expert in, right? What are three words that describe me? If you’re referring me and my business to someone who needs my services, another one, this is one of my favorites.
You know, you can count on me when, or you can kind of rephrase it. You know you can count on me too, blank, dot, dot, dot. What am I known for? What do I sell or who do I work with? Of course, feel free to workshop those questions to personalize them to you and your business. Now that you have a list of three to five questions, send them!
To these three different types of people. Okay, so I’m going to break this down. Because when I say send them 20 people, people will freeze up and go, nope, no thanks. Like, I don’t even want to send these to my best friend, right? But I want you to think about these different categories, and it’ll make sense in a second.
So the first category is your family. I want you to send these questions to your mom, your dad, your sister, your brother, your cousins, your aunts and uncles, your grandparents. This is what I would call your nucleus family. Now, typically, I think by definition, nucleus family is like your parents and your siblings.
And then as we’re getting older, it’s like, you know, your spouse and your kids like that would be like your household, right? And if your children are old enough, oh my gosh, ask them. I think that would be so cute. Actually, if you have some toddlers or some little ones that don’t quite understand it, I would love to hear how they perceive you and your business.
So that might be kind of fun. I want you to start with your friends and family, okay? Like start with people that are super close to you, people that you do spend time with. I completely understand and I do want to send a hug. To anyone that these relationships may not be available right now, or things may be awkward or uncomfortable.
I want you to know that I see you, I love you, and if you don’t have anybody on this list, sister, friend, you better send it to me, okay? I will answer these questions for you. But start there, that’s the first category. The second category of people I want to, I want you to send these questions to are your long time friends.
Okay, this is your best friend from the sixth grade, your old church friends, your friends you played sports with that you’re so close with today. This is the key though. Okay, so like you don’t want to just reach out to like old Facebook friends or friends on your Instagram that you’ve had forever. Like these are people that are still a part of your life, right?
Like, Hopefully you see them frequently. You know, these are people that you have really experienced a lot of life with, right? Like they’ve seen you grow up since the third grade. They’re really the family friends that may be on your Christmas list for years, right? So there’s like a good chunk of people that you can extend these questions to.
And number three, I challenge you to send out these questions to your business besties. These are relatively new friends that may be really familiar with your business. They may have only known you for a short amount of time, but these friends relate to you and your passion so well that they may even have similar businesses that align with you.
Let’s start there. Ask these questions to get some feedback to work with. This is going to be a tough challenge. I know it could be as simple as sending a text. So what I would do, like, for example, if I wanted to, um, send this list of questions to my brother. I would text him and say, Hey, Mike, I have these questions for you.
It’s not an emergency. It’s going to probably take you five to 10 minutes. So if you could get back to me by the end of the day, or even by the end of the week, right? Like there’s no timeline on this. Like this is just for our own. Like our own research for our business and our brand. I would give him a heads up and say, Hey, like you don’t need to be doing this on your lunch break right now or like in between work, you know, and give them that, that opportunity to say, okay, cool.
Like you do want me to spend some time thinking about this, right? This isn’t a rush thing that I need right now. Send over a text with those questions. You can send them one at a time. You can, I would prefer if you’re anything, if you’re anything like my family, I, they probably would want the questions one at a time if you’re texting them so they don’t get overwhelmed.
But start there. It’s as easy as sending a text with a couple of these questions. And if you’re even thinking, Hey, I kind of want to throw these people off guard, whether it’s your mom, your sister, uh, your business bestie, let them know that you have a couple questions that you want to ask them and then just FaceTime them.
And I know this sounds crazy, but I actually really like this approach too, because then they have. Like their quick answers are going to be fast, right? Like you’re gonna see how they think you’re gonna see. Oh, yeah, like it’s just it’s just so much faster, right? And I love that because you do want to hear what comes to mind first, right?
Because you’re kind of work shopping these answers with them and you’re trying to find alignment with what you’re offering now what you’re no longer offering and you’re going to get so much information fast. You know, my family doesn’t like homework. My friends, maybe not like homework either. That might be something there.
Another opportunity to get these questions out is to legit just send a jot form or maybe a Google form to ask these questions. So that’s easy too. So if you’re like, Hey, you know what? This is too paralyzing for me. No, thank you. I don’t, I don’t even want to ask these questions in the first place. If, if you’re in that kind of camp, no worries, babe.
I send all my love and support to you to send a job form. Literally. I think they’re free. Like I think they’re free up to so many questions or so many people that respond. And I know I pretty sure Google forms are free as well. Start there, literally just start asking those questions and here’s what these outcomes will hopefully help with, with your alignment and your embodiment.
After reviewing these responses, and I need to know, by the way, is everyone on the same page with what your business is offering today? Have you experienced any pivots or recent changes that your family and friends need to get caught up on and up to speed about? Are the friends and family that are closest to you aware of what you’re doing today and in your business?
And if there’s a disconnect, let’s start here, right? Like, let’s just take a deep breath and start together. Now. I have this theory. I call this a birthday cake theory. I totally just made this up. I don’t know where I got this, but I just kind of started thinking about it where I want you to think about your friends and family and the people that mean the most to you and are actually around the kitchen table that sing happy birthday to you, right?
And You may be in a phase of your life where these are your college besties, right? Like, maybe you are, like, maybe you’re away from your hometown. And, uh, you know, you’re working somewhere in a big city. And, you know, like, the closest people you know is, like, your neighbor and your cat, right? Like, whoever is singing happy birthday to you.
I want you to think about those people that mean the most to you, and when I say happy birthday theory, those are the people that should be able to explain what it is that you do, and if they don’t know, we need to start there, and the reason why I say this is kind of like going back to the beginning of the episode where I talk about like having past clients or family and friends that vouch for you.
If the people that are closest to you don’t even understand what it is that you do, and I say that so vaguely because I know a lot of us are online coaches, like, I know some of our parents probably are like, Oh, I think she like think she coaches online.
I don’t know. She sells things. I’m not too sure, but she makes money on the computer, right? Like, I’m not talking about, you know, grandparents and parents that may not fully be aligned with what we do, but having that starter point. Yeah. With our birthday cake theory, with our family and friends, like, if we’re not comfortable telling them what it is that we do, how can we ever expect strangers on the internet to know?
If the family and friends that mean the most to you are still stuck on the track of your life and business pre 2020, like, since so many pivots and so much growth has changed since then, then it’s time for some updates. Plus, I want to mention that if you’ve been feeling stuck, not just looking for alignment and what you’re already doing, but feeling unsure of what’s the next step or, you know, what move you’re going to make next, reviewing their responses may lead to even more discoveries of your true self through their eyes.
Sometimes what’s creating a block for us isn’t really a block at all. We just need to open our eyes to what’s right in front of us. Okay, so now that we have gone through this rollercoaster of finding alignment, doing the fun things right after spending some time getting creative, relaxing, journaling, getting your body moving and asking your friends and family about you and your business, you’re ready for the next step.
These first five steps are so important to let your mind rest and find alignment with what’s next. Let’s start with these questions. Does the current business you’re running feel in alignment to you? Are you offering these services, gigs, projects, or experiences because you’re really good at them? Or have you recently gotten burnt out on them?
Does the work that you do spark joy? Are you passionate about the work you do? Trust me, I know work is work, but do you really feel like you’re working in your sweet spot? Make sure to circle back to episode number 173, finding your sweet spot with Liz Hartke to break down living in your purpose and laser focusing on tasks that move the needle in your business.
She also has a book coming out soon that I can’t wait to grab and share with you too. So let’s fast forward for the sake of this quick solo episode over here. Although I do feel like we’re sitting together and chatting through this and hashing out all these questions and action items together. I just love you so much.
This is so fun. So let’s fast forward to that feeling when you’re all caught up in alignment with your work. You’re passionate about the career you’re creating and know that to the core of your existence, you’re doing the work you were called to do. Okay, great. Now let’s get to the action list. How do you get that energy, those feelings, and all of that magic online?
How do we match the vibes you have in person to the vibes you’re portraying on social media? Let’s break down five easy and some easier said than done steps, let’s be honest, to show up authentically as yourself. Number one, show up. This is your reminder to get in the room. If you’re new here, hi, I will live and die on this hill.
I’m so happy you’re here and I literally repeat this all the time. I’m all about showing up, getting the room. The more times you get outside, try new things, meet new friends, and make deeper connections, the more your calendar will be filled with aligned clients. Now is the perfect time to try a new line dancing class, invest in a conference, grab drinks with friends at a new restaurant, sign up for a new mastermind, just get your butt in the room.
Okay? And when you’re in the room, I want you to talk. I want you to share your voice, which leads us to number two, share your voice. This is your sign to write out some scripts and start sharing some talking head videos. Love them or hate them, I promise they will help attract and align clients. I suggest pulling out your frequently asked questions and starting there.
Plop a question on the screen with text and start answering it in your video. These are of course more fun to do with friends or with a biz bestie, but you can absolutely do these by yourself with a tripod. Here’s a key tip for you. I suggest letting yourself keep talking even if you mess up or forget your lines.
So just keep hitting play, talk through it. The more you practice, the easier it’ll get. Pretend like you’re FaceTiming a friend and speaking to just one person. This is also true not only for social media, but for speaking up at events, chiming in during everyday conversations and asking questions.
Transcribed This is your sign to talk your dreams into existence and to start sharing your magic, because here’s the thing. You want to make connections with people. You want to make genuine connections. You want to book aligned clients. Like you have to get out there so people can see you interacting.
And I have this quick tangent that I want to go on really fast and then we’ll get back to this list. But I remember when Mike and I first started dating and you know, it was, it was post COVID we met in 2022 there still weren’t a lot of big events going on, right? I mean, we would have barbecues and stuff, but maybe only a couple of friends would come over or we do date nights with friends, but.
I mean, we really weren’t even in the big concert scene yet, right? Like as much as we love going to our country concerts and stuff, like we weren’t really doing that and not yet. Right. And so I fell in love with him exactly who he was. But then when I saw him interact with my family for barbecues, or when we would have birthday parties and just kind of hangouts, like we are the house that people just come over.
Like Mike will put meat on the barbecue. People will bring sides or dips or drinks to share. And we just like have an impromptu like barbecue, right? And I remember thinking to myself, Oh my gosh, like watching him talk to his, you know, to his buddies. Um, watching him prepare the meal and just being a host made me fall in love with him even more because I saw him in action, right?
Like I saw him doing the thing and the thing that I fell in love with, but I really only got to know him on a one on one basis, right? So I want you to kind of picture that. And then apply that to your business, right? Like people need to see you in action, in your zone of genius, doing things that you love.
And the easiest way to do that is to simply show up for those events, right? Start talking, start bringing people along for the journey. Okay, so that was a huge tangent, but it really does add up in my head. It makes sense. And then number three, this leads us perfectly right into take us behind the scenes.
I know I talk about this a lot, but I can honestly say that so many people I meet at work events tell me they feel like they know me, or I’ve even been told that I’m the same person online that I am in person. Bingo. Bada bing, bada boom. That’s the goal here. I’m active with my content to show up and share my thoughts, share my adventures, and most importantly, share the client experience that I provide and how it’s so fun to work together.
By sharing the work I’m already doing, I get to resonate with the viewer so they can see themselves in those behind the scenes clips. It makes my business, content, and personality more relatable. The best part about generating content from the behind the scenes of your business is that you’re already doing the hard work.
I challenge you to share it. Just hit record. When we share more B roll of our life and business, we’re organically building social proof, proving our value, and creating demand. If you need help getting started with B Roll, make sure to head to KianaMarie. com slash B Roll That’s Q U I A N N A Marie. com slash B R O L L.
That’s B Roll without the hyphen. To grab a free guide to help you get started today. Trust me my love, I know your dream clients will be obsessed with you. But they need to get to know you first, right? They need to see you and you working your magic first for them to fall in love with you. Number four, these are all tips to help you feel seen, okay?
Number four, start a content series you can stick to. I love a good series to keep me motivated. For example, every single Monday morning, I’m committed to dropping these episodes. For the last three and a half years, I have never missed a Monday. This is episode number 178. Holy smokes for 178 weeks straight, I’ve never missed a beat.
Now within these episodes, I’ve broken down a couple of series that keeps things moving along and helps things feel a little more organized and binge worthy for listeners, new friends and followers, and business owners like you. Over the last couple of years, my business has changed and my podcast reflects those updates.
I have a super educational, amplify your wedding series where I interview industry leaders, wedding vendors, and even past brides to share a ton about wedding education, marketing your weddings and filling your calendars with dream couples. You can check out that entire series from episode number 25 to episode number 49.
Check out episode 49 and in the show notes. There’ll be a huge blog to give you a peek at the roundup of episodes and highlight speakers to grab what you need. So I love that. I love a good series because then you can just pick and pull what you need at the time. I try to be very intentional with kind of giving you a roadmap with the interviews and the questions and the things you may need.
Like step by step, but you all know we’re entrepreneurs for a reason and we don’t like being told what to do. So I love just like giving the information and then you can pick and pull what you need. Recently on the podcast, we also released a robust series called the branding series to help you prepare, produce, and promote your next brand session.
We cover everything from refining your brand story to what to wear to your photo shoot to posing, web design, SEO strategies, to blogging. Exploding your brand awareness with social media with JeraBean, collaborating with brands, and so, so much more. You can find all of those coaching calls, like, legit, they’re episodes, but I call them coaching calls because, I’m not even kidding y’all, like, these should be paid coaching calls.
Like, I took advantage of each of these industry leaders, speakers, and educators, and I asked them all the juicy questions that legit feels like a coaching call. But you can find those on episodes number 150 through 171. I’m now gearing up for a brand new series all about mindset next. We can have all the strategies, action lists, and tricks up our sleeves, but if we’re lacking confidence without a strong mindset, I don’t think we’ll ever really see progress.
Those episodes will be rolling out next, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to a handful of new friends, experts, and industry leaders in the mindset space too. Okay, back to series and helping you implement a series for yourself and your business. Consider creating a series that holds you accountable each week.
Maybe every Friday you share your financial tip as an accountant every morning while you’re getting ready to go live like Jen Gottlieb, you practice speaking and building more genuine connections with your friends, family and followers, right? Like go live every morning or maybe you find yourself in the pickup line at a certain time every single day and you have a couple extra minutes.
Go live, just start talking, right? Maybe you’re a wedding photographer and love to showcase wedding venues and vendors. Create a series that showcases your favorites and keep growing your list. I suggest sticking to a day of the week or even creating a quick series like my friend Paige is doing. Check out PaigeMajor.
Creative to peep her 30 day series all about reviving her YouTube channel. Oh my gosh, she’s so talented and these series are so fun because they’ll literally suck me in and make me watch them all, like I’ll bounce around to the ones I need. And then I’ll open up other ones like out of order or I’ll try to catch up and watch them all.
It’s so fun. It makes it binge worthy, right? It like hooks you and then it makes you want to go back and watch the entire series. What type of series can you create for your brand or business? Okay, we’re almost there guys. Number five. These are all incredible ways to be seen and to amplify the energy that you have in person with what you’re doing online.
Number five, get on podcasts. Clearly, you know I’m obsessed with podcasting, but this isn’t your sign to run out and start your own. If you’re thinking about it, my producer, Haley Gaffin Creative, has a ton of resources to get you started. Even if you’re just curious, start listening to Haley’s podcast, Clocking In With Haley, to learn a ton about producing, marketing, monetizing your podcast, and everything you need.
From the very beginning to startup to producing successful episodes, podcasting has completely changed my business, stretched me as a business owner and brought so many incredible opportunities and connections into my life and business. Even if you don’t have any desire to start yours yet. This is a gentle reminder to start pitching yourself to be a guest when you put yourself out there as an expert in your field, having a handful of podcasts to share will help create even more alignment with your business and brand.
This is especially true if you’re also trying to pitch yourself to get on stages to speak. This is your big kick in the butt reminder to start pitching yourself. When you get on stages physically in person for events or virtually online for podcasts, you can extend your network drastically when you bring your expertise lessons and stories to new podcasts, you’re literally creating a rebel effect and getting yourself exposed to even more listeners, potential clients, and even more networking opportunities.
Now, I have one more bonus for you because I love adding a cherry on top to everything, especially my Shirley temples. This is your reminder to get in front of the camera and book your next brand session. As you reach new levels in your business, continue your education, create new offers and level up.
This new energy in you needs to be celebrated and documented. I offer quarterly content days that I call Lucky 13. These quarterly shoots happen every season, and they’re the perfect opportunity to step in front of the camera to be seen, meet new business owners if you’re local here to the East Valley here in Arizona, save these dates for upcoming shoots.
We have one coming up in April. It’s Sunday, April 13th. The next one will be in the heat of the summer, July 13th. And we also have one in the fall for Monday, October 13th in 2025. These events used to be monthly and now I’m rocking quarterly content days. So you walk away with fresh headshots, new connections, and even more confidence.
If you’re looking for a refresh and a more personalized and custom shoot, you’re always welcome to reach out and schedule a brand session too. I offer intentional power hours and half day sessions that knock out three months of content in only three hours. That’s a Mac daddy, whole enchilada world series, grand slam, and they’re so fun.
You know that saying, no matter how beautiful the sunset is, our phones and cameras just can’t do it justice. We can see the beauty in real life, and then we go to take a picture, and it may look cool, but it doesn’t capture the feeling, doesn’t capture the essence, and the magic, and the vastness, and the colors, the vibrant colors of that sunset.
The same feeling of beauty we all see in the sky. Typically at Treasure Joe’s and Target parking lots, I don’t know why sunsets in those parking lots usually look the most epic. Well, the same feeling of awe and beauty we feel when we see this gorgeous sky is the same way I see you. It’s the same way your dream clients see you.
Taking pretty pictures of ourselves to post online won’t always do us justice either. We need substance. We need to share our missions. We need to allow ourselves to be vulnerable and share the messy middle. We need to connect simply being ourselves. We need to show up and prove what were the best options for our clients.
We need to stop screaming on social media and whisper to our dream clients instead. If all of this sounds like it’s up your alley and you’re interested in learning more about aligning your energy and showing up authentically as yourself, I have something popping up soon. Starting this spring, I’ll be offering quarterly marketing and content strategy.
I’m calling them growth spurts and I’m literally so freaking excited for them. Personally, I love a good mastermind content plan and accountability. Each quarter, I’ll be opening the doors to one month of intuitive content coaching. Think of these coaching experiences as a sprint. One month each quarter devoted to learning some marketing strategies, bouncing ideas for content, and then implementing and taking action with accountability.
LEARN MORE ABOUT SEASONAL CONTENT + MARKETING COACHING
My goal is to make this group coaching program welcome business owners that all have a desire to be seen, appreciated, and to fill their calendar with aligned clients. Each season, I’ll be dropping education that aligns with the calendar year, with business seasons, sales, and marketing strategies in mind.
The first coaching experience, guys, it’s so new that I haven’t really named it yet, will begin March 20th, the first day of spring. With each new quarter and new season, I’ll be dropping these growth spurts to help us stay accountable, walk away with a content plan, and feel supported while we continue to build brand awareness and make marketing fun.
If you want to grab first dibs, I want you to head over to QuiannaMarie.com/GROWTH or DM me growth to get yourself on the wait list. Oh my gosh, babe. It’s going to be so much fun. I don’t know what it is about these monthly things. It’s just perfect for me because I love accountability and the idea of sticking to something for like a very long time.
Kind of like paralyzes me. Like I like being able to have options. I love quick starts. I love sprints, right? I was a softball player. I love running bases. I don’t, I don’t like running marathons. Sorry if that is off topic, but I just want you to know how excited I am. And if you have any interest at all, please let me know, send me a message.
And I would love to share more about that. We start soon as we wrap up this chat. I hope you feel empowered with an intentional checklist to meet you where you are, push yourself to refine what you’re offering and then go out into the world, both in person and online to align your beautiful energy. We don’t have to sing and dance and do silly things online to receive abundance.
We simply need to be ourselves. I’m sending you so much light and love to remind you that our world needs you. We need your magic, your heart, and your impact. The wealthier we are, the more generous we can be. You are vibrant, beautiful, and deserve all of your dreams to come true even better than you expected.
Keep on shining, baby. Keep on dancing. I love you and hope you have a beautiful week. Can’t wait to chat soon. Okay. Bye. That’s a wrap on another episode of Quianna Marie Weekly. Thank you so much for your listenership and support. You can find the resources and show notes for this episode and more at QuiannaMarie.com/podcast
I’d be honored if you’d show your support by leaving a review and rating on your favorite podcast app until next time, keep on dancing.
