The Saturday before Mother’s Day my cousin, Angelique hosted the cutest “pinterest worthy” Mother’s Day Tea and it was absolutely beautiful! Spending time with my father’s side of the family, out numbered by powerful and strong women always makes my heart (and belly) full!

They say when you marry someone you’re also marrying their family. Each time we leave holidays, birthdays and special occasions with my cousins I remind my mom, “Thank you for marrying Daddy so we get Auntie Debbie and my family!” If you know my mom, she always responds, “You’re welcome!”

For real though, each of the women on my dad’s side are kind, adventurous, heart felt, intelligent and make you feel loved no matter how long life has kept us busy and apart! Not to mention their inner beauty beams, making them more and more beautiful!

I joked with Angel that morning that I’m thankful we share genes because my future daughters have a chance of looking like her!

We clinked glasses and Helyna even spilled the tea! So much fun laughing, catching up and sharing funny stories!

Thank you for hosting Angel! Everything was delicious and absolutely beautiful! The perfect way to clink glasses and celebrate our Mama’s!
