You don’t need more content. You need more. Strategy. The goal isn’t to be the loudest and flashiest on social media. It’s actually to whisper and actually be a breath of fresh air that your clients are praying to find. You are already juggling so many hats in your business home and trying to drink more water and Admiral protein to every meal.
We’re even drinking our protein these days. You don’t need another draining task like content on your plate. What if content didn’t feel like a pressure cooker, but more like deciding between cinnamon rolls or monkey bread on Christmas morning? I’m not even joking. Side story, commercial break. This Christmas morning, I got to wake up and spend it with Mike, and that was my only concern of the day.
If I wanted to start a family tradition of having cinnamon rolls or monkey bread, and literally I had one of those aha moments sinking. I made it. I picked a man that doesn’t stress me out, that our holiday mornings are easy and slow and memorable and oh my gosh, it makes me wanna cry thinking about that.
But like that was my biggest decision of the day. So going back to content, what if it was that easy? What if it was just a matter of picking and pulling some of your favorite things? This is why I’m obsessed with branding sessions and content days that make showing up easy. They build hype for your business, simply sharing the behind the scenes.
It’s the easiest way to sell every day by simply being yourself. Being a personal brand has been the best investment of my time and energy over the years. It’s not just about taking a million photos that make you look as slim as possible or documenting every minute of your day. It’s about the messaging.
Your dream clients are actively searching for you and your services. They’re waiting to be invited to work with you. How are you showing up for them? It’s not about looking good, babe. It’s about generating content that your future clients are looking for. I love this so much. I love a good example and sharing stories.
Just recently at last Summer’s, lucky 13 mini branding and content day. My good friend Darien, who I photographed many times before, told me, okay, key. I need your magic. I wanna book more coaching clients and need your help with photos to bring that to life. Now side story. Darien owns a wellness space in Gilbert, Arizona.
It’s beautifully curated. It, it’s just a beautiful space for wellness coaches, healers, and local businesses to thrive. It’s called the Zenden and Gilbert. You gotta check it out. As a certified yoga instructor, Darienne noticed that a lot of her friends and peers that graduated with her yoga certifications are extremely talented with their leadership and alignment with hosting yoga classes and just leading and commanding the energy in the room.
But many struggle with the education and real life experiences with running a business. She wanted to fill that gap and offer mentorship for instructors to run sustainable and profitable businesses. As soon as she explained this to me, I was on it in the middle of our mini session during Lucky 13, I grabbed two chairs and they call them seating chairs, but literally I think that is so ridiculous because literally every chair is meant to sit in, but a seating chair is like something you would see.
In a living room that may just be like a pair of chairs, right? Like it’s usually cushy, sometimes it’s leather, it’s fancy. Or maybe a seating chair is like one that you would see like in that random one in the hotel room, right? That’s like by the window in a small desk. Okay. So like just picture, like chairs like that.
I slammed those two together at an angle and it looked like, like we were on the Oprah show or on the stage of Ellen for an interview. Right? So I asked Darien to sit in one seat and to smile for a couple shots, and then I asked her to gently glance at the empty seat. So we did some ones where it was like a little more softer and welcoming, and then we even added some cheesy ones.
’cause I love the cheesy pointy ones. And so I asked Darien to kind of point to the empty chair, right? The mission behind this content was to create the visual that she’s saving a seat for her next coaching client. She’s literally welcoming space for them to sit in her office or energetically in her world.
So I want you to imagine this, right? So literally picture this. She’s sitting there in these two chairs. She has this empty space. That alone speaks volumes. Just posting pictures of Darienne, doing yoga poses, sharing her space, like actually sharing her studio or smiling at her laptop wouldn’t have the same type of impact that that scene has.
This is where my expertise comes in. You tell me where you are now, what you’re currently offering, what lights you up and what’s coming up next. Sometimes the clients I work with aren’t sure what’s next and they need help articulating their thoughts. I live for this. Just by asking a couple questions and truly listening and tapping into my intuition, I love helping business owners celebrate where they are today and forecast what’s coming next.
Visibility plus trust equals sales. You have to take the time to pause, gather your thoughts, and study your data to move forward with confidence. Once we have your business offers, launches, upcoming events and opportunities mapped out. Then we can turn those visualizations in your head. So like what’s in your head into real tangible photos and B-roll video clips so your clients can see what they want.
I ran into this a lot with wedding photography. So many clients couldn’t imagine anything unless they could find it on Pinterest. They literally could not use their imagination to like pick ideas and pull them together and like see something that doesn’t exist. This is why I was obsessed with hosting styled shoots for wedding vendors because it allowed hairstylists, wedding planners, cake bakers, and florists to simply play and try new things.
You see, as business owners, we had to go first. We had to visualize something unique and different in our mind. Then we had to create it, and most importantly, photograph it. Bonus points for my vendor besties that posed with those curated wedding florals, updos, and all of the behind the scenes moments. So it not only shared a new idea, but validated that they created it, and it wasn’t just a shared screenshot.
We got to share the build out and all of the behind the scenes moments while bringing it to life. Okay, babe. Real talk. We’re halfway through the year. This is the time to plant seeds for the fourth quarter of the year. Let’s round up 2025 with a bang building momentum for 2026. Holy smokes. I cannot believe that 2026 is literally six months away.
It’ll be here before we know it. Let’s set up your big launches for fall, your events, and create a cohesive, personal brand with all of your offers. By the end of this year, we need to start planning and creating your content map. Now we need time for priming, sharing about your mini sessions, your offers, your events and sales coming up.
You see, that’s the part that most people forget or they feel discouraged about. With Amazon Prime. Everyone wants an overnight delivery, or at least the next two day delivery for their efforts, right? It doesn’t work that way. If you’re waiting for the perfect time to capture content. It’s today, it was yesterday, it was last week, so today is what we have.
So let’s put on the calendar so we can do it next week, right? Your clients are watching you. But are you showing them what they need to see? And I want you to think about that for a second, right? I think we can get so caught up in the trends and what everybody else is posting, but I really just want you to go through your client experience and pull apart pieces of what you do and what makes you different and what makes you fricking awesome.
And we need to photograph it. Babe, we are done playing small. We have to show up and we have to prove to others that we are worth the investment, that we are the only option. And when we work together to document your headshot, document your B-roll and your behind the scenes and all the content that we can generate together, you quickly become that, right.
I would say you already are that, but we just need to show it, right? So I wanna ask you this. What’s one offer you would love to sell out this fall? Is it your mini sessions that you wanna have sold out? Is it a upcoming retreat? Are you hosting a podcasting event that you would just love to sell out?
What is it that’s going on in your world? Whether you have a coaching program, a mini course that you’re launching, you know, it doesn’t have to be like an actual event. It could just be something you’re releasing into your business. Tell me what that is. What is it that you would love to sell out? Okay.
Now I wanna ask you this. How would it feel to have your content banked, batched, and done? Before the first pumpkin spice latte hit Starbucks drive-throughs. Like I’m serious. Like we need to start planning this now. And actually, so by the time this airs, it’ll be like in July. Okay. So I’m pretty sure those pumpkin spice lattes come out in August.
Like it’s still sweaty and hot here in Arizona. Like the oven is still on and uh, it’s hot. But those pumpkin spice lattes show up. Anyway, that’s how I know it’s time for fall. Right. What could happen if you booked one day to plan your marketing strategy and document your magic? I mean, wouldn’t that be so fun?
Especially if you did it with me. Oh my gosh. I’m making your visibility easy. I. Easy. Easy, easy. The easiest it’s ever been this week, and I am officially introducing my Christmas in July. Client experience blowout Now. I think blowout is literally like a disgusting word. Like I totally get it when I see blowout.
I think of like furniture sales. I think of like Macy’s, like a specific store, like a department store, like you know, closing down one of their stores. Like to me that’s blowout, but I also think of my nephews and just like blowout, right? Like I just think like, that’s not a good word. But anyway, let’s not focus on that.
Let’s focus on this Christmas in July sale. Let’s take our minds from that and let’s think of really fun gifts, like actually cute gifts for the summer, and those fun graphics with that. Okay, so I wanna break down what it is that I am offering for this Christmas in July sale. Okay, so I first wanna start out with the VIP Content and strategy day.
Okay. I wanna run through this. I think the last episode is when I actually explained what’s going on. So check back to the handful of previous episodes because I went into detail for what it looks like for this VIP day. But I wanna like recap it real quick for you right now, in case you missed it. I want you to imagine you and I grab a coffee.
Maybe it’s an iced coffee, maybe it’s a matcha. We meet about this gorgeous studio. We start there, we pull affirmation cards. We plan out your day like PS. Before we even get to this point, we’ve already had a consultation call and we already know a lot more about your business, what your planning outfits, all that has been, you know, discussed.
I wanna flash forward to that morning. You are unloading your car, I’m helping you hang up your items. We’re doing, you know, trips back and forth to your trunk to unload all of your props and all of your things for your client experience. And we literally spend a good two hours in this studio documenting headshots, your lifestyle, photos, products, if you have products.
We literally are aligning future retreats and digital courses and eBooks, whatever it is that you have that you’re launching. And we create outfits and kind of like vignettes that go with each of those products. Like, ugh, so amazing. So like just imagine you have your like full personal brand and then underneath that brand you have little branches of just different like little eras of your business.
Oh, I love it so much. Okay, so we start there. We take a ton of photos and B-roll clips in the studio. Let me grab lunch because you all know girl needs to eat. Food is literally my love language and we need some, some fuel, some brain fuel for the day. So we’ll break for lunch and we’re not just like chatting.
Like if you wanna talk about boys, if you wanna talk about life like girl, yes, I’m here for it, but I love maximizing our time. So we are literally going to map out your content strategy. We’re gonna brainstorm ideas. I’m gonna bounce ideas for your podcast, for your retreat. I’m gonna help put you in contact with.
Other industry leaders to potentially speak at your next mastermind, right? Like whatever that looks like. Whatever help you need with taking the content we’re creating that day and just lighting on a fire and amplifying it and putting all of our Instagram and social media like glitter, I’m down. So that would be like the middle little break in the day.
And then the part two, this is the part that lights me up even more, even though I love studio time. I really want you to maximize this shoot by incorporating the client experience, okay? So for this, we will literally be bringing in whether it’s family, friends of yours, current clients that you adore, and you’re gonna perform your services on someone, right?
So if you’re a facial person, like we’re going to your salon, we’re going to your boutique to actually do a facial, okay? And I’m there getting photos and behind the scenes going over the consultation. If you’re a photographer and you’re planning Sunset portraits for mini sessions, let’s go out into a location that you desire and bring clients, and I will literally photograph you and document behind the scenes of what you do best.
This is the part that I feel like there’s a missing link with branding photography is because people will just all of a sudden post those beautiful, curated headshots and they look stunning. Like we need those. And as a brand photographer, yes, I know how important those are. But there’s something that just elevates you and makes you the only option when you are actually sharing the client experience.
Because when you take just headshots of yourself, sure you can look professional. Sure you can look like you are expensive, but when people can see themselves working with you, like when they can see themselves in their cl, in your clients, ugh, like game changer, right? So we will wrap up the day doing a whole bunch of client experience moments.
And this is one thing that I, I love to discuss because I don’t ever really talk about this on social media, but one of my favorite things to do with branding, photography during the client experience is not just be forward facing with social media. So like, trends are fun and you absolutely bet your booty that we will be taking some fun trends and I’ll al I’ll come with a buttload of ideas for that.
One thing that I think doesn’t get discussed enough is the backend of your client experience. So let’s say for example, as a photographer, if you are. Prepping your prep guide for your couples or you know, your family experience guide, what to plan for, what to do, right? Like, let’s literally take photos of, this is about a small toy.
So one thing I love to do for many sessions is I love to let parents know, hey, if your three-year-old is, is totally attached to a toy, can we bring a Matchbox car? Something that like a Hot Wheels, I’m like label myself like a Hot Wheels car. That they can potentially fit in their hand or easily be hidden behind someone’s back versus like a huge stuffed animal or a huge blanket that is just in every photo that’s very difficult to Photoshop out slash I don’t even do that.
Okay, so like, but we can share like this, not that, right? These are the types of marketing tools and opportunities that we can collaborate for. So you’re actually. You’re creating a client experience for your clients that only they see, right? So, yes, we can put this on, we can put this on social media, of course.
And once again, it just validates that you’re the only option and that you are worth the investment. ’cause you know what you’re doing. But there’s so many content pieces that can be added to your brand and to your business. That doesn’t always end up on social media. Right. Okay, so I am literally going on a tangent here.
I’m having so much fun, like picturing this day in my mind. So I want you to add, like insert your business into this VIP day. Okay. All right, so let’s tie this with a bow. I wanna wrap up exactly what is included in this VIP content and strategy day. A one day branding shoot meets content planning party.
This is gonna be a party. It’s going to be so much fun. You leave with a bank of photos, reels, and a huge marketing map, and it includes these two locations. We’re gonna start in a studio. We’re gonna grab lunch together, and then we’re gonna wrap up In the actual work you, you do like the services you provide.
The best part about this is that you will leave with a 30 day rinse and repeat plan. So even though this is 30 days, you literally can repeat this month after month, and I say with a 90 day strategy. So you can literally take that one month of content planning, like what to post next, how to align yourself as the expert, how to get your clients to trust you, to love you, and to invest in you to actually click buy or to actually work with you.
And then you can rinse and repeat for the next three months using completely new photos and behind the scenes videos, like that’s the part that is just so mind boggling about this. Spots are limited and the price jumps back up after this week. So this is a 2002 22 founding rate. So 2, 2, 2, 2. And it will literally double after this week.
So this is a literally five to 10 K value photo shoot, which is insane. Um, it’s normally priced for 4,444, but if you snag this right now, I. We don’t have to schedule it, um, until the end of the year. So you literally have until December, 2025 to book it, which is so fun that this happens to be a Christmas in July sale.
Um, so we have until about Christmas time next year to actually redeem it, but let’s get on it. Okay. This is literally half off. I am so excited. Okay, so number two. Okay? So for one day a month, we are committed to connecting with each other. I typically show up to your job site. I’ll show up to a location. It could be a coffee shop, it could be somewhere where we decide. We are committed to one hour together a month, and that begins at 3 33 a month. That is typically literally over a thousand dollars if we were to just do it one time.
But if you commit to the membership, which is a three month minimum, um, we will literally do this together for just 3 30, 3 a month.
