?As I was scanning my carrot juice, orange TicTacs, orange cupcakes, Reese’s pieces, orange candles, and a bouquet of orange tulips in the self checkout. You know, the floating clerk who’s always watching over your shoulder, but disappears when you need them to enter or override a code. Well, she was there and she saw all these orange items and smiled and giggled.
Wow, someone you love must be obsessed with the color orange. I smiled back and told her, oh yes, it’s actually for a brand shoot. I was on my way to Felicia’s house for a pop-up, a VIP day and ran into just grab some quick items for her branding shoe. She was gonna be wearing all white or different shades of white and creams, and she really wanted these orange to just pop right.
So the sweet lady with frazzled curly hair went on to tell me all about how she loves photography and how her son was a wedding photographer, and she laughed and said he was back in the day. He used to photograph and film. And I just love it because as you know, film is coming back. So really that isn’t dating herself anymore.
But we chatted for a while and she even asked for my card, and I’m so thankful that I had a bundle in my purse to share with her. I was in a hurry, but I am so glad I made the time to share a quick conversation with her. She was so sweet, and it was just a great way to start the day. Anytime I have a VIP day on the calendar, they’re literally my favorite days of the month and ooh, just, it just makes me so happy I.

Today I’m thrilled to break down what exactly a VIP day with me looks like, what you can expect, why they’re important, and how we can generate over 90 days of content in just one day. I want you to imagine this. You just launched a new offer, maybe a new low ticket digital product, a new freebie you’re excited to share.
You are ready to dust off your newsletter for email marketing and maybe actually start sending an email once a week, once a month, quarterly, whatever that looks like. Maybe you’re hosting your next retreat or your next event. You’re a coach, a healer, leader, photographer, or business owner that’s ready to shift, pivot, or add something new to share with the world.
Now imagine having photos and video content that match those vibes. It’s like your content feels fresh and energetically packed with where you’re headed, not just old headshots that don’t even look like you anymore. Trust me, I get it. I know it’s not possible for me to photograph everyone, although I think it would be so much fun if you and I could work together, but I understand. I really want, um, you to take this framework for a productive content day. And this is something that I encourage business owners to book quarterly twice a year, or at least the very least once a year to build brand awareness, create even more visibility.
And let’s be honest, laser focus. Your efforts wrinkle all of your thoughts and fine tune your offers. I see you, babe. You’ve launched before. You’ve tried batching. You have been sitting on brilliant offers. You and I both, I’m not even kidding, babe. We are both sitting on a million dollars. Like, let’s just cut the crap.
We are sitting on a million dollars and we need to get things moving, but your content isn’t converting the way it should. Most business owners don’t need more ideas. Oh my gosh, I was so excited to talk about the shoot with that sweet little old lady. And before we move on to chat about the VIP day as your big sister and business bestie, I have to remind you how important it is to tell people what you’re actually up to or what you’re doing when they ask.
Please don’t just keep the convo surface level and tell the checkout clerks, bank tellers, or coffee baristas that your day is going fine or it’s whatever, or you’re tired. Don’t do that. Please, like make sure that you’re taking advantage of these opportunities when they ask and ask how you are, what you’re up to today.
Share a piece of your client experience, share what you’re actually up to, how your day is really going, or what you’re looking forward to. Do they instantly ask for a card or book you right on the spot for your services? Probably not. I. But it’s a great way to practice sharing what you’re selling with confidence.
I’m a firm believer that when we speak our mission into the universe, it literally rattles the sound waves and echoes really brings in more of what we’re attracting. If we don’t speak our minds, share our offers and talk about our businesses, we literally float away without any memorable timestamps.
This is your sign to speak up and share about your day. It’s time for an energy shift, not just as a reflection of the work you’re putting into your business, but as a visual recognition and content receipts that your current and future clients cannot only see but believe. Let’s build trust over a solid foundation of what you’re selling so you don’t feel salesy and annoying.
With your daily, random post, you’re showing up with ease, knowing that you’re choosing quality over quantity. You’re prepared to show up with intention that makes an impact, not just scrambling to save sound you’ll never create in your own niche. Does that sound familiar? ’cause it does to me. I’m constantly saving things and I have these great ideas, and then I think I go back to do ’em and create them, and I’m like, what was I even thinking for this?
I, I don’t even know. Hey, and then by then the trend’s probably over, like, it’s been a couple days now. It’s been a couple weeks, and we’re already onto the next trend. Okay. So let’s get back on track to share what we get to look forward to with your next VIP day. First of all, before we even begin picking your location, digging into your closet for outfits and scrolling Pinterest boards for branding photos.
We need to do some inner work. The deep work that for some doesn’t feel like fun, but we need it In order for this shoot to resonate and create the impact you’re craving, we need to put some time in. Okay. I love starting with some grounding exercises and journaling to pause and recalibrate. What’s working in your business?
What’s no longer moving the needle? What busy work you’re cranking out, but it really isn’t moving the needle. What lights you up, what you’re offering next, and what type of events, podcast retreats, or big opportunities are ahead? It’s the perfect way to carve time into business planning without feeling like you’re running on autopilot or spinning your wheels.
Booking a VIP day with me is like taking a much needed business pause. Really it’s a breath of fresh air to celebrate how far you’ve come. Document where you are now and forecast where your business is going next. Creating a content plan is like building the roadmap to where you’re going. We get to see the bigger picture and take the tiny action steps to get there.
But if we don’t have a destination, how are our clients supposed to find us? Right? And I’m visualizing this content map or like this roadmap, right? If we don’t have a game plan, if we’re not headed somewhere and taking our audience, family, friends, and followers along with us, everyone’s gonna be lost and confused, right?
Like, what’s going on? I. So after we brainstorm your offers, share what you’re excited about and create a solid plan for your 90 day marketing strategy. Let’s play out what this day actually looks like when we collide. This is my favorite part. It’s gonna be so like, I literally dream of these days.
Imagine these like wedding days for your business. Like I’m literally calling them like vow days, right? Like we are taking a vow of commitment, of creativity, of love through thick and thin. I mean, there’s something there. I kind of need to flesh that out. ’cause that can totally be a fun campaign. Okay.
First of all. We start out with some go-go juice, your favorite iced coffee or matcha. Keep in mind every little detail is calculated for this shoot. Of course, we’ll be photographing and capturing B roll with your morning brew together, we’ll clink our shaken espressos and we’ll even pull an affirmation card.
This helps set the tone for the day, brings up any affirmations or intentions to set for the day. Plus, they’re fun. And in my experience, everyone that has pulled the card before their shoot gets the chills because they’re spot. On. Plus, I love to do this right as we begin so we have something to chat about as we unload the car, do some final hair and makeup touches, which by the way, hair and makeup prior to your shoot is totally optional.
I enjoy it because it really does create this transformation in this like instant gratification of glow up energy, but also on the same, I would say like the other flip of the coin. You don’t need this, right? If glam is not your thing, if you’re just a chapstick and mascara girl and putting makeup on feels a little intimidating or never looks like you, you’re safe here.
I will never judge you for that because sometimes I feel that way too. So we can go as simple everyday vibes, or we can go full glam, whatever is like whatever you’re craving, let’s make it happen. Having time to kind of have our coffee and kind of settle in. It allows us to lay everything out in the studio, making our game plan, knowing what outfits we’re starting with, what outfits we’re ending with.
Like we just, we get to see everything so nothing gets forgotten. I. Together. We’ll spend a good two hours together in a gorgeous, naturally lit studio in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa area. I love committing to a beautiful studio for professional portraits and lifestyle vibes. Within those two hours, we knock out about four to five outfits, depending on how quickly you can change.
I have worked with clients before that it literally takes them two seconds to switch out a top. Fluff their hair and they’re good. And then I’ve also worked with clients that go into the bathroom and take 15 minutes to change. So I want you to really calculate what that means for you and so we can realistically have a game plan for how many outfits we can look forward to.
Those two hours are gonna fly by. We’ll be taking photos and capturing tons of B-roll. Once we wrap up our storyboards and bring your branding mood boards to life, then we pack up and grab lunch. And I wanna really like reiterate what happens during that studio time. Right. We are photographing you in your highest self.
We’re celebrating you. We are doing a ton of expressions, right? Forecasting your upcoming courses and we are aligning outfits with courses or digital products or future events that you’re hosting, right? We are really diving deep and calculating this, this like two hour experience. I want you to leave with a whole content and marketing strategy backed with the photos and the B roll.
So it just makes, just makes sense. Right. Now let’s get back to lunch. I heard lunch. Let’s go back to lunch. I love to include lunch because A, I need brain food to keep going. And B, it allows us time to brainstorm even more ideas. Flush out new podcast episode ideas either for your own podcast if you have one, or brainstorm shows to pitch for yourself, which Ps I have a lot of friends in the podcasting industry and if I don’t know somebody, I’m sure I know somebody that knows somebody, so I would love to connect you.
We chat about upcoming educational opportunities, bounce ideas for your growth and hosting upcoming events. Do you need contacts for collaborations? Speakers in your masterminds need help with marketing ideas to help sell out your mini sessions or have ideas for merch. Like whatever you wanna dream about, let’s talk about it.
We can cover whatever your heart desires. I’m like a human version of chat, GPT with real human contacts and connections to share. Literally, this is just the, the way my brain works, and this is something that I, I feel like if you’ve been listening to the podcast for a while, you may know this about me, but I really do think that’s a gift that I, it’s not that I’ve been hiding lately, but it’s more like I just haven’t been.
Sharing it like here I am, miss behind the scenes B-roll Queen over here, telling everybody and encouraging all of us to share more of the behind the scenes. And that’s a big piece of my life, like coming up with ideas, coming up with catchy words and names of your products and just really fun stuff.
Like I’m just the idea girl. Like I love it. And that’s something that I haven’t been. Really sharing. So part of this VIP day is like unlocking and like, whew, letting all these like wild ideas fly, like basically being a consultant from your business. Whew. Like that’s, that’s where it’s at. Alright. As you can see, these content shoots take a lot of energy.
Breaking it up with a lunch hour is like recess for brains to take a break, recharge with some yummy fuel and regroup before the next content chunk. Once we wrap up lunch, we’ll head to part two of the shoot. This two hour block of content creation will be slated for your client experience. Imagine part one is explaining what you do, telling your audience what you offer, and why you’re the expert.
Part two was actually doing the work at this second location. I love to prioritize the client experience by sharing the work you’re already doing, just documenting it with intention. For this location, I suggest your home office if you are an online coach, the gym, if you’re a fitness trainer at a home showing or new build.
If you’re a realtor. On location for a family portrait session. If you’re a photographer or a local park, if you’re a dog trainer, you’ll get the idea, right? I wanna immerse myself in your business to help capture you in action. I love to encourage my clients to schedule their friends or family or real clients that they love.
And that they adore to act as actors and like literally be models in this second portion of the VIP day. This is a great opportunity not only for them to receive a slice of the services you offer, but really it’s for you and for your business. As a business owner to showcase why you are the only option in your industry.
Depending on the location, we can move our feet and create variety just by changing the scenery a little. And I wanna reiterate that a little bit. So like let’s say for example, if we happen to be at your home office, okay? We will utilize your home. So we will take pictures in your home office. We will maybe take some photos or B-roll of you making your coffee in the morning.
If you have pets at home, we can incorporate them, like whatever that looks like for you. Or for example, let’s say we do pop into a. A fitness gym, right. Same thing. We can get you inside the gym, we can get you outside the gym if there happens to be a coffee shop nearby. And that’s something that you always grab.
You grab your little protein coffee on the way to work, whatever that looks like. If that’s within like really close distance, it’s like literally a matter of stepping inside or outside. Um, we can make that happen for tons of variety. These two hours can be flexible and we may not need the full two hours, but I love to add it as a buffer just in case.
These content days are basically many masterminding days to document your business history in the making. The energy is high, not in an annoying, screaming, cheerleader way, but a magnetic ooh. It’s time to remember who the f you are. Energy, right? That’s what I live for. Based on all of the magic we brainstorm together, I help generate your 90 day content planned.
Yes. What we captured in that one day can literally drip 90 days of content. I. It consists of weekly challenges. Chat, GPT, prompts to use, checkpoints to bring your audience along for the ride. As you launch your next big offer, you have a sale coming up or an opportunity to work with you, like whatever it is, whatever your product suite is or whatever offers, packages, collections, whatever you’re selling or whatever your services are, we can break that down into like a content drip for you.
So it just makes sense. It’s easy. Drag and drop. Here you go. Thank you ma’am. Right. I even offer accountability as an upgrade. Like now that you have this, and this is one thing that I’ve noticed, I. I don’t wanna say all of my clients because not all of my clients are this way, but a handful of my clients, they invest in these VIP days. They invest in these crusher content like power hours or even some of that have attended Lucky 13.
And they have so much fun, they get so much out of the experience, they leave feeling so confident and just like, ah, like we just, we feel like we just conquer the world. Like the energy is so high, like in a good, like we’re carving out like our future kind of way. I. Not this like fleeting firework kind of way.
And then what happens is they get home, they get busy, they get into like the just craziness of their daily lives, and then they don’t post, they don’t share. So I noticed that there was a disconnect with. This kind of falling off situation where they would have these banks of content, they have tons of B-roll to post, but then they weren’t posting it.
They weren’t sharing it. And I kind of have to ask them like, what was the point of what we just did? Because we’re not sharing that. Right. So if that is something that you need, please let me know. Please let me know. I’m literally workshopping right now trying to figure out some type of way I can do a membership or some type of accountability, um, partner program, because that’s it, right?
It’s like that’s what it looks like. And it’s so fun. It just needs to get done. When my clients work with me, they don’t just get photos, they get booked. They don’t just feel confident. They get asked to speak on stages. Don’t just have pretty new shiny photos. They finally have content that feels like them and attracts aligned clients.
In other words, they don’t just tell people what they do, they show it. They build trust and relatability with their clients. Their value increases, not because they’re more valuable after working with me. No, no, no. Their content becomes more valuable. The work they’ve been hiding behind or honestly not showing at all helps align them as an expert.

Like we didn’t even talk about like actually celebrating the launch, and that could be a whole other content day. Let’s be honest. Selling online and sharing about yourself can feel braggy and annoying if you’re feeling pushy and in a desperate energy. Booking a branding photo shoot and sharing the behind the scenes of that shoot is as easy as it comes.
It is literally the easiest way to build hype and create curiosity for what you’re working on. Side story, commercial Break. If you’ve seen the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, I’m talking about the reels and tiktoks the girls have been sharing lately. They look like they booked a photo studio and spent all day recording their dancing, lip-syncing and silly trends.
You can see the backdrop in everything. It legit looks like a photo studio. Now. It totally could have been a part of their campaign for the Hulu show, but I think that’s kind of the point. Just like my hilarious friend Alexis Cast mentioned recently on episode number 1 95, how are you making your business the biggest brand campaign of your life?
We need to document your magic. After working with me, Elizabeth has been able to sell out her workshops and is already gearing up for the next retreat, so stay tuned for future retreats, workshops, all the fun stuff that Elizabeth is planning. Just recently had the honor to work with Tanya Wilson, the owner of Home Field, a septic tank company local here in Arizona, with more franchises opening up in Washington and Texas.
We knocked out a ton of content for her marketing team to share on repeat, to build even more brand awareness for their business, which I think is so funny. Like who would’ve ever thought I would ever in a million years photograph a septic tank company? And if you know Tanya and her story, it’s so similar.
She would’ve never thought in a million years that she would start up and just conquer this septic tank company. But she is. Such a powerhouse woman and I, I’m just inspired by her every day and her heart for educating and teaching. She literally has a podcast, um, helping other septic tank companies succeed.
And I just think that is, I’m like going on a rant with her right now really fast because I just think it’s so incredible. You have to check out home field on, um, Instagram. I’ll make sure to tag them. And Tanya Wilson as well. I’m just blown away by her ability to niche down, niche down hard and be so incredibly successful.
So make sure you follow along with her. We just did a brand shoot and my, actually, my friend Tara, her husband Ryan did the drone footage for that and that was just so epic. Oh my gosh. Even if we can’t do this together. I still want to be able to impact your business in some way. So please take some time to recalibrate, set some intentions, and celebrate what’s ahead. So whip out your notebook or pause to write these down when you get a chance. And I really wanna ask you this, I really want you to put the time in and take a step back and really stop focusing on what you’re selling, what you’re offering, how people can work with you, and like a little bit of these kind of on the surface introduction questions.
And at the end of the day, I want you to ask yourself, when you’re looking at your life, looking at your legacy, what do you want to be known for? Write that down, journal on it. Then the second part of this first question, am I showing up like I am already her? Woo. Question number one. What do I wanna be known for?
Am I showing up like I already am her? Number two, if my dream clients scrolled by my feed today, would they trust me enough to buy or book? All right. That’s an important one because like I said, it’s not just the. Awareness of what you are offering and what’s for sale and how often you’re posting, but is the trust there?
Are you showing that you are the expert and like I’ve said this a million times until you probably like, okay, key, I’ve heard this enough, but this is why I’m so passionate about sharing the behind the scenes and sharing the B-roll of what you’re doing. Like you’re doing the work already. Just share it.
It’s not like an easy marketing hack, which it is, but that’s not the point. It’s not, the point is not that it’s easy for you, it’s that it’s actually building trust for your clients. Right. Okay. And number three, what story am I ready to share that will connect me to the clients I’m meant to serve next?
Ooh. Okay. So this gives me the chills because I want you to dig deep in this, right? And this kind of circles back to what I wanna be known for. This story may not actually align with the work you’re doing. It may not actually be a part of your business, but it is, it like fuels everything, right?
Like it’s, it’s so big and it’s so very much a part of your business. But how is it actually aligning you as the expert? How is it like fueling you? What is it that gets you up out of the, you know, in the middle of the night, right? Like what helps you sleep at night knowing that you get to conquer these big goals and these dreams and help people?
Woo. I love it so much. So these are the kind of questions I love to ask to get your creative juices flowing. When we work together, we’re not just making you look hot. That’s a given babe. We’re finally showcasing who you are, what you’re selling, and why you are the only option. I love working with clients that have big visions, know they’re meant for more, and are ready to stop being a hidden gem.
