I am fearless in the pursuit of what sets my soul on fire. This is the quote for the week and I’m so thankful that you’re here for another dance party for Quianna Marie weekly. Now, when I first started my business, I seriously ran off of my happiest smile, my fun loving and fun personality that only goes so far I needed to look legit. I needed to be more professional and offer credit cards as payments and sent invoices. When I first started my business, I’m not even kidding that I actually would deliver CDs. That’s what dates need as a photographer, and I would even send contracts through the mail. I’m not even joking. The first couple weddings I ever shot. I would send contracts but I literally was stuffed them into a manila folder, mail them off with a pre stamped manila folder inside folded, ready already prepaid, for my clients to mail back to me and it was just honestly a joke. I thought I was being so professional back then. And it just reminds me that this is why we have technology and this is why I fast forward to today have invested in honeybook plain and simple. Honeybook is what took me from being a hobbyist passionate photographer, the girl who works at Trader Joe’s and does some photo shoots on the side to a full fledged, professional photographer to my own standard.

It’s a one stop shop for all my invoices, all of my emails, and contracts and all the things that help keep my business running behind the scenes. Now I just want to share with you six ways that honeybook has helped me to six figures. And I know that sounds crazy, this did not happen overnight. But I am here to tell you that honeybook truly is the lifeline and the heartbeat behind my business that made me feel so legit. So let’s dive into the six ways that honeybook has helped me reach those six figures. Number one, it instantly created this professional, legit factor. Okay, so we’ll just call it number one legit factor. And I was not emailing pricing anymore. I was not sending PDFs through Google Docs, I had everything in one location to showcase my business, people could instantly get to my website, book a call with me or create I could instantly create a proposal for them. And it’s just insane how beautiful and professional this looks. They were purchasing something from me online. And eventually these mini sessions and these family shoots turned into 1000s of dollars worth of weddings. And I was able to present myself in a way that looked legit online. That was huge. So number one is definitely the legit factor. First impressions are everything. And honeybook is a great way to set those expectations and to greet your clients professionally. Number two client experience. So this was really big for me. Having everything in one location was a lifesaver. email communication, pricing guides, workflows, contracts, invoices, questionnaires, bookkeeping. Yes, you even can have QuickBooks linked directly to your honeybook, you can have multiple threads in your emails that are in all one location. So instead of going back to search a client’s name and then going back through threads and threads of conversations, it can just get so sticky and messy. Through honeybook, you have one direct location for each of your clients. And it has just been amazing. There’s tons of automation features in there, and it really helps. And when I mean automations, there’s automations for workflows that can kick off. And there are things that I could kind of kickstart or Ignite. So I don’t have to constantly be reminded or I don’t have to constantly have that crazy workload and just all those million things on my mind for each of my endeavors. clients, once they’re set up to a workflow, they get the same experience they feel well taken care of. And it feels like a touch of confidence, knowing that they’re in really good hands. Even though these are automated. The third way that honeybook helped me reach my six figures was mobile on the go. I love this feature. Having honeybook at my fingertips is incredible for me to quickly pull up questionnaires, quickly answer questions when clients reach out to me. And I actually have a record of 5.8 minutes it took for a client to send their first payment, once they contacted me to book that right there is gold, you can’t make that up. By the time someone inquired. I was able to easily send them the contract, easily send them more information, they made their decision, and they paid me on the spot. That is something that is just, I don’t even have the word sometimes. Because as a small business owner that started really scrappy, and just accepted cash and sharks tickets back in the day, or, you know, hockey tickets back in the day. This is huge. So having the mobile app on my phone is incredible. And it’s also great because it’s user friendly for my clients to have it on their phone as well. Number four is money. So that’s kind of what we just went over. But it’s a secure and safe location for clients to make purchases. A lot of my purchases, especially in the recent years have gone on to be really big, I have booked clients that are paying upwards of five to $10,000 for some type of product or their wedding experience when they add up their wedding coverage. And albums. That can be a really pretty penny and having a safe and secure way that they can just put it on their credit card or that they can make a payment and feel secure is so huge with me, I don’t have to call and ask for their their credit card number, I don’t have to put it on a sticky note and then shred it and just have that kind of like self conscious, like worry. Everything is safely and securely done online. Which is another way that also kind of creates that legitness. Right. All of these will start to kind of blend together but you get my point. Number five are the real humans. So honeybook is ran by real people that work hard daily to bring new features answer your questions. And they also partner with the rising tide society. So these are like the honeybookers and the magic computer wizards behind honeybook are real people. When I jumped on as a startup, gosh, I’ve been with honeybook for over five years now I believe it’s just it’s insane the amount of features and all the improvements that they have made, I’m not gonna lie, when they first started, there were a couple things that I wish they had, there were a couple apps or integrations that I wish they had. And at this point now, there, they have answered all of those prayers, and they have made all of my dreams come true as far as what I need. Now, like I said, there are literally dozens of CRMs out there, and I highly encourage you to test them all out. Honeybook is just what I use and what I love, and what my clients love for what I’m providing. But having that security knowing that I could send an email, I’ve even actually hopped on Discovery calls with some of the honeybook just like marketing people, I guess there was a honeybooker who reached out to me someone who works for honeybook. And she actually like put me in a survey and asked me what I need. What type of company or CRM does that I mean, I don’t know I this is this is why I love honeybook, because they really care about their customers. And they want to make sure that they’re taken care of and that all of the apps and all of the programs and all of the services that they can provide are something that we need. And if something’s missing, they try to fill those holes. And that, to me is just incredible. It’s an incredible piece of integrity, incredible way to run your business. And I love that. So I love that they’re real humans. The sixth thing that I love about honeybook is the community and I’m not even joking, I saved the best part for last because, yes, you need all of the previous things to be a successful business owner. But the community that honeybook serves and that brings together is incredible. Not only do they crowdsource for valuable business content, but they created a safe place to network. So basically imagine a Craigslist for creatives. We can list upcoming opportunities, search for vendors and share referrals. So for example, maybe you’re a bride trying to find a vegan gluten free cake in Lake Tahoe or we’ll be traveling to Italy for a wedding and we’d love to connect with a local wedding planner. Since honeybook is a global community and the opportunities are limitless. And this is what I love. I as a photographer have posted several posts looking for second shooters, I’ve responded to second Shooting opportunities as a photographer, it is, I mean, the opportunities are just endless. And this was a great way for me to once once I have my calendar booked. And if I had any holes, or let’s say, for example, if I was traveling somewhere for a wedding, I could potentially book a second wedding that next day or the day before working as a second shooter for another local photographer in that area. That is gold being able to connect on that level. Or maybe I don’t have an interest in actually working extra at while I’m on vacation, or on a destination for a wedding. But maybe I could take the opportunity to see if there’s another photographer in the area that would just like to grab a coffee, or just like to exchange maybe go to happy hour or something. The opportunities are endless when it comes with a community of honeybook. And that is not something I take lightly. I absolutely utilize it. And I’m so grateful that it exists. And I know my business would not be where it is without it. So those are the six ways that honeybook has helped me reach my six figures. If you are interested in getting started with this, I have a link for you. It can help save 50% on your first year. And honestly, this is what has helped me go from the best friend or let’s just say Mike’s sister, right? Like this has always been my nickname. Use my link, I would be so grateful. And let’s see how quickly if you’re not already there yet, let’s see if we can get to six figures by using honeybook.
