Hawaii Inspired California Coast Wedding

For almost two years of planning and dreaming about their Hawaiian Wedding Laura and Josh never let this year’s pandemic cancel their love. With their hearts set on their destination wedding on the shores of Hawaii they were determined to celebrate with their toes in the sand! After lots of unforeseen obstacles and hard decisions out of their control these two and their beautiful family brought their visions to life on the coast of California!

Laura and Josh got ready in their home, decorated with Polynesian florals and Hawaiian music to set the vibe. Laura even did her own hair and make up! Just being in their home while getting ready felt calm, inviting and relaxed – I felt like I really was in an AirBnB in Hawaii!

After exchanging a first look, their small wedding party hopped in a limo and traveled through the Santa Cruz Mountains to create their intimate and sentimental beach wedding. Many laughs, vows to each other and their children brought on tears of joy and floods of emotions.

Following their beautiful portraits besides the Davenport cliffs and crashing waves we traveled to Laura’s best friend’s childhood home to celebrate the sweetest back yard luau!

The entire day I was mesmerized by all of the kindness, love and emotions expressed throughout their day. It truly was an honor to witness so much pose and gratitude for a wedding that wasn’t anything that Laura and Josh anticipated!
