Every flower must grow through dirt.

This week I reflect on the struggles and acceptance of everyday life. It can be so easy to appreciate a flower in full bloom and forget about the stress the bud encountered along the way. Dirt, rain, droughts, bugs, birds and bees! Even the chill of the moon and heat of the sun pounded on the delicate petals. Yet, full bloom in line with the season… bold and beautiful.

Each day I push. I pull. I fight. I crave acceptance and perseverance throughout the day. When in reality I should try my best, only push to be better than I was yesterday and let the wind, sun, and dirt do it’s job. God truly has a plan for me and you and when we’re ready to bloom, we’ll bloom.

Please note that you’re not alone… even the flowers have to grow through dirt to reach their potential! We got this!
