Growing up one of my favorite things to do with Ma was to drive around town browsing through model homes! Who wouldn’t love a FREE adventure filled with decorating tips, imagination sparks, and air conditioning on a hot day? As a little girl I LOVED it! We would run through the houses selecting our bedrooms and literally turn into HGTV experts… Playing Joanna Gaines, “I would knock out this wall… Why would they put the TV, here? It should go on this wall!” Tons of fun make believe experiences and a great opportunity to dream! In addition to the fun decorating ideas… We had FUN!  Years later… As a young woman struggling with adulting I realized how brilliant my mother was way back then! Growing up with very little made her think outside of the box. Mama is truly the best memory maker of all time! She makes the best out of anything, even when we had nothing. Little did I know that checking out floors, light fixtures and cute DIY crafts for the home would have such an impact.

The best part is now after a long day of house hunting we get to enjoy a cocktail afterwards!
