Welcome to the blog, sort of like a digital garden where dreams are planted and grow wild! My name is Quianna and my family calls me “Qui” like key! I’m a traveling photographer based in Scottsdale and the Bay Area.
I love adventures and creating memories even more than I love photographing them—and I LOVE taking photos! In addition to capturing weddings, family milestones, and the best memories I also offer business tools, motivation and inspiration to help creatives turn their passions into their profession. We only get this one life, why not live our days doing what we love?
“Stop planting flowers in people’s yards who aren’t going to water them.”
This quote really hits home as I take mental inventory on the people I surround myself with. Thanks to my Mama I have a heart that always sees the good, always questions negativity, and literally wakes up with a smile every single day. Even on the days when I feel crushed or a little under the weather, I still decide to be happy.
I am more than fortunate to love the ones closest to me. Some may be a 6 hour car ride away or a 6 hour flight and travel day away and some share meals with me everyday. These are my heart and soul. The backbone behind my everyday hustle and my why. Why I work so hard and why I sometimes just need a nap. They get it. They water me everyday.
So why am I always trying to sprinkle wild seeds and pray for growth in other people’s life? Why do I keep wishing and hoping for things to change? Constantly questioning my worth and wondering if acceptance is an option anymore?
Those days are over. I should be beaming light (dancing in the kitchen), watering (sharing laughs), and offering a solid ground (hand to hold) to those that return the favor.
Take note of the friends that laugh with you. Notice the family that is happy for your happiness. Never lose sight of your inner sunshine. Time is all you need with these souls.
You can expect to hear back from me within 24 hours on weekdays! Weekends are reserved for shooting weddings, but I'll be back in a jif to reply to your message!
