Welcome to the blog, sort of like a digital garden where dreams are planted and grow wild! My name is Quianna and my family calls me “Qui” like key! I’m a destination wedding photographer based in Scottsdale and the Bay Area.
I love adventures and creating memories even more than I love photographing them—and I LOVE taking photos! In addition to capturing weddings, family milestones, and the best memories I also offer business tools, motivation and inspiration to help creatives turn their passions into their profession. We only get this one life, why not live our days doing what we love?
We woke up to cloudy skies and misty air the morning of Irene and Marion’s wedding day. The chill in the air warmed up as soon as Irene’s smile was in view. From the morning in her make up chair all the way to the last dance Irene couldn’t stop beaming and Marion couldn’t keep his eyes off of her!
Irene and Marion decided to share a first look. Just an intimate moment for the two of them to get a sneak peek before the rush of the wedding day.
Oh, boy was Marion happy to see his bride!
All morning the clouds were dreary and daunting us with frizzy hair scares! As a pastor of her church I knew I had some powerful prayers backing up my crazy ideas to take the bridal portraits and first look on the pool deck! Just in the nick of time the rain stopped. Cloudy, but clear air for the most amazing lighting a photographer could ask her! Phew!
Since they brought along the cutest umbrellas we had to capture them, too!
Cranes. Cranes. Cranes. Thousands of cranes hand made by family and friends from across the world brought Irene and Marion love, peace, and hope to their marriage. Such a sweet way to incorporate their family and friends, even some that were unable to attend.
Following the ceremony their church family celebrated by sharing hundreds of delicious cupcakes before their send off to the reception! Yes, they had two gorgeous cakes!!
Irene and Marion danced the night away with their family and friends. Together they radiate love and peace. Thank you for selecting me to photograph your beautiful day!
