Welcome to the blog, sort of like a digital garden where dreams are planted and grow wild! My name is Quianna and my family calls me “Qui” like key! I’m a traveling photographer based in Scottsdale and the Bay Area.
I love adventures and creating memories even more than I love photographing them—and I LOVE taking photos! In addition to capturing weddings, family milestones, and the best memories I also offer business tools, motivation and inspiration to help creatives turn their passions into their profession. We only get this one life, why not live our days doing what we love?
This year has been INCREDIBLE to say the least! I finalllyyy had the opportunity to quit my full time 8-5’er and embrace photography with a running start! YAY! This would never have been possible without the love, support and encouragement from family and friends like YOU!
Photography has always been a passion of mine and taking weddings to the next level has brought even more excitement and joy to my days! To sum up I get the opportunity to meet awesome new friends, get to know their love story and their little quirks that make them smile, shoot them up and create timeless memories for them to share for generations. Yep. This is my life and I couldn’t be even more in love!
Now as your thumb scrolls down like lightning through this 2015 recap please note that I included some of the joys and emotional tidbits that make me. Everyone loves the frilly and pretty – I thrive on moments of the day to last a lifetime! As stressful as wedding days can be I accept the challenge to smile and make the best of every situation! After all… it’s important to not make your pictures look like the best day of your life, but to help remember one of the BEST days of your life!
And…GO!
When your best friends get married you join them in Cabo!
Popping bottles for a toast after the ceremony! Cheers!
Want to share something special with your Mama on your wedding day? Let her enjoy the morning getting ready with the girls and then surprise her with a first look! YES!Create a special memory (and save some money!) by including your mother’s veil!Â
This image wasn’t even on the bride’s checklist! While a helpful Auntie was getting the next group on deck for photos I saw this image unfold and SNAP! Gorgeous moment for a proud grandmother and her four stunning granddaughters.Â
Many mothers have subtle tears of joy during the ceremony… Nope. This mama couldn’t stop beaming! All day.Â
This beautiful couple decided to have an intimate elopement with their parents before their LARGE ceremony this January! Stay tuned for their wedding part 2! What a lucky bride.
I couldn’t be more proud of the friendships and bright memories created in 2015 and I can’t wait for more amazing things to unfold in 2016!
You can expect to hear back from me within 24 hours on weekdays! Weekends are reserved for shooting weddings, but I'll be back in a jif to reply to your message!
