If you couldn’t tell by the light in their eyes JR and Elise were destined for marriage. Within the last couple of years of dating JR and Elise both caught the bouquet and garter while attending weddings as a couple, not once but THREE times! As the old tradition goes… They would be next! The universe and tradition had a plan that collided together.

Saturday May 30th started bright and early with the girls getting ready at the De Anza hotel. With classic Disney music playing smiles and a calm vibe light up the room.

Meanwhile at JR’s childhood home the boys were getting ready and taking care of last minute details before the ceremony.

Elise gifted JR a mini bridal boudoir album… for his eyes only! Can you tell he loved his groom gift?

Lining up for the ceremony this daddy (Elise’s brother) kept the flower girl smiling!

Mason jars and colored sand symbolized the union of two. Once separated and now forever together…

While the wedding party escaped for some bridal portraits near the creek their wedding guests enjoyed cocktail hour and prepared for their reception.

Lawn games like this life size Jenga and Corn Hole were a HUGE hit! The kiddos loved it and it made the picture taking time fly by!

Hosting the wedding in JR’s parent’s backyard I had the privilege of celebrating with my Almaden Mom’s! These ladies truly are my biggest fans and it was an awesome reunion!
