This month was all about travels, projects and setting up systems for another busy year! During this time of building and refreshing it’s important for me to knock down some walls [ blast insecurities], explore [stay creative] and kick start my workflow [create a rock bottom foundation].

This February I was invited to join Amber Concept to help support and assist with their booth at WPPI in Las Vegas! As a first timer to WPPI [Wedding + Portrait Photographers International] I was STOKED! I had the opportunity to meet new friends, geek out on the gear and feel like I was in Disneyland for photographers!

On the last day my sweet friend Lindsay and I rented a car and escaped to the red rocks! For as many times as I’ve been to Vegas, I’ve never taken the 20 minute drive to see these beauties!

Spending time with Lindsay is always a joy. We quickly connected over avocado toast + coffee while I was in Texas for a workshop with Laylee Emadi! The Rising Tide Society brought us together, but our friendship keeps us in touch! I’m so grateful for the business women and life long friends that RTS has brought into my life and Lindsay is a perfect example of that friendship!

I challenge you to grab your camera and friend and just goooooo! Pick up a coffee + bring snacks + a water bottle! You may not know where you’ll end and that’s okay! Just do it.

With so much time spent on social media it’s important to make some REAL face time and explore our gorgeous homeland in person!
