When I say that I’m a kitchen dancer, I’m not joking! During the holidays, weekend mornings and everyday after school you could find me in the kitchen… dancing!

I am forever thankful for the women in my family that let me dance. Whipping up recipes, laughing, sharing stories and learning my toughest lessons all happened in the kitchen. Everything from chatting about boys to seasoning your pasta water to taste like the sea, the topics were endless!

Today and everyday I am thankful for our kitchen table filled with way too much food, my favorite people and just enough space between butts up against the counter for me to dance! Now I just pray I keep this dancing a full time gig, the kitchen talk recently has me worried I may have to start paying attention so I can learn a thing or two about these Italian-American traditions… Until then I’ll just be dancing with my morning mug of champagne!
