Three weeks ago I met Liz with The Body Fix Fitness & Nutrition and it was a game changer! I poured my heart into Liz and shared just how desperate I was for a restart. It was time to make my health and fitness a priority and I needed her help!

I have always been pretty active, but even when I did get to the gym I just pushed myself enough to sweat and never touched the machines. They were too scary! I needed accountability, I needed LIZ! She kick started my sweat sessions and revamped my nutrition plan.


I still can’t believe that one of the first things she blurted out during my assessment was, “Girl! You’re not eating enough!” -Now for those that know me, know that I’m like Joey from FRIENDS and never skip a meal. Food is my life! In my family we eat when we’re happy, sad, celebrating, just because someone came over… ALWAYS! So food to me wasn’t a fuel source, it was a way of life and how we express our love.

With her strict, but reasonable nutrition plan I am able to live my life making a lifestyle change and not just a diet. I truly want this way of life to stick so I remain healthy and active in the long run. No quick fixes around here! Instead of eating 2 large meals a day, hitting Starbucks every day and drive through at least 2-3 times a week (french fries are my weakness!) I’m now eating 3 meals a day with snacks in between and plenty of water! I find myself fueling my body instead of eating empty calories.

The beauty of working out with Liz is that she actually knows what she’s doing. During my first training session she promised me that I will NEVER puke during her training and she has yet to have a client throw up. In fact, she shared that trainers that make an end goal of throwing up clearly are uneducated. Your body rejects alcohol and sickness by throwing up, so obviously your body is reacting to something not right during a work out as well! Have I mentioned how much I love her?!?

QuiannaMarie_0638 Her fun, but motivating personality keeps me pushing and cracking up the whole time! Plus we instantly bonded over small business and constantly share tips to help each other grow and have major sweat and brain storming sessions! Time flies! QuiannaMarie_0641The Body Fix Training is located in San Jose behind a residential home. Think of a revamped in-laws quarters! It’s perfect. No sweaty gym people. Within just three short weeks I have lost 2 inches around my waist!
