Hey, hey, hey, welcome to the party, Rosemary. It’s such an honor to meet you and to have you on the show. How are you? Thank you
Rosemary: for having me, Quianna. I am really excited to have this conversation with you today.
Quianna: Yes. Oh my goodness. Well, you and I both know that so many entrepreneurs and so many business owners are in this shift of work, work, work, work, work.
We have to get things going. We have to move the needle. And a lot of these words like scaling and growth. And abundance can feel actually really unattainable, right? I’d love to ask you, how can we increase our productivity without increasing our output, right? So without actually doing more work, doubling down and continuing to burn ourselves out.
Rosemary: And I think especially for us entrepreneurs, we didn’t start a business because we hated it. We started because we love it. So for many of us. Doing more is not necessarily difficult. We actually enjoy doing it. And so it’s very easy for us as well to get into a burnout. I think it’s about shifting the, you know, the mindset about what productivity looks like.
And for a lot of us, productivity means doing more, but it’s actually doing the right things better. And so, I think one of the best ways to have a increase without necessarily increasing output only is really to double down on what’s working and to know that you need to audit your business, right? You need to know, okay, what are some of the things that I do or have done in my business that led me to the results?
I want it faster, better, Take In a, you know, in a nicer way, whatever it is, but for you to know what’s worked in the past. And once you’ve identified that now you can double down on that and double down doesn’t mean, you know, you put your head down and you go into a burnout, but it’s about. Okay. Now I know that this is what I need to do to make my business successful.
How can I schedule that? How can I spread that around the activities that I do my work so that I can get that result?
Quianna: Yes, I love that. So where do we begin with an audit? Tell us more about that and how can we actually pause? Because sometimes we’re, we’re stuck in this hamster wheel, right? So how do we make the time to pause and then begin with an audit?
What does that look like?
Rosemary: Whenever you feel like I’ve been, you know, I’m doing everything and I’m not getting the results I need. The best way to start with an audit, basically ask yourself a few questions like, okay, what have I been doing lately? And that could be tracking your work, literally everything you do in your business for the next few days.
And for some people it works like having a timer and a piece of paper and every time they do a task writing it down. But for some it’s like just putting your timer on as you’re doing a specific task. So I use Clock I, and I think if you have a VA or you work with an assistant or someone else, you’re used to people logging their hours so that you can pay them.
So I like to do that for myself. When I would, you know, I’ll start tracking my time to see where does my time go? What are some of the tasks that I spend more time on? And then I look at the result. Like, does it necessarily give me more money? Does it bring me closer to my clients? Why get more visibility or whatever it is.
So really tracking everything that you do in your business and then looking at what does that do for me? You know, does it help me to get closer to my short term or long term goals? And then another thing that you can do once you have identified everything that you’re doing, and you know that they’re not high impact activities, but they’re just busy work, you know, you can you can cut it off, you can decide to no longer do it, or you can decide to delegate it, or to park it for a moment.
And then you can really focus on the CEO tasks, because I think a lot of entrepreneurs, when we leave, you know, maybe a nine to five and focus on Business. We tend to still act as if we’re employees of our own business. And so we’re doing the same thing. We’re just being busy. You know, when you’re an employee, you’re paid by the hour, you know, you’re paid by just being there.
Whether you know, eight hours a day, whether you did this or not, you just get paid. As the business owner, that’s not how it works. You really need to focus on the things that will bring you the bring you money. And so once you’ve identified all of that, by tracking your time and, you know, identifying which tasks actually bringing the results, you can.
Decide what to do with what’s left to delegate it, to delete it, or to pause it.
Quianna: Yes. I love this beautiful reminder because this is something we all need. This is something we all need to track and be aware of. And I think this is so important to start now, right? Whether we are, we’re still kind of in a little bit of that new year energy, right?
We’re coming into the end of February, you know, beginning of March, and A lot of those big lofty goals were set, we’re getting kind of caught in our routines, right? We’re getting caught up in the daily tasks and the busy work. And now, and when I say now, I mean today, no matter when you’re listening to this is the perfect time to start that audit.
I love that so much. I think
Rosemary: it’s a great thing to do, you know, a couple of times a year, you know, whenever you feel like, Hmm, I feel like I’m just stuck in the busy work again. Things are not moving the way I’d like them to. And I tend to do it at least once a quarter to just like, okay, let’s just sit down and look at everything here.
Um, am I going in the right direction? Sometimes we can just be pulled in so many directions by looking at what others are doing and that impacts our daily activities. And before we know it, we’re working on something that has nothing to do with what, you know, what our goals are and it’s not going to get us closer, but further away from our goals.
Quianna: Oh my gosh, I love this. So I love taking listeners on this little journey. I’m kind of like, playing out this story or this movie in my head as we chat, everything like has a little time check. So let’s say that we are, we’re done with our audit. We’ve looked at our schedule and we’re aware. Okay. Clearly I’m doom scrolling over here too much.
Like I need to get off my phone. Maybe that’s number one for many of us. And when I say many of us, I’m speaking for myself, right? Like, so we can limit time on our phone. We are just looking at our schedule and thinking, wow, what’s actually bringing in profits? What is growth? Right? Like, what are the tasks that I’m doing that are actually moving the needle?
So what would you suggest, Rosemary, like, what are some mindset shifts that we can start implementing today? So once we’ve acknowledged, okay, it’s time to clean house, it’s time to update my schedule and focus on these. revenue driving tasks, what’s next? Like, how do we, like, cause that’s where my brain goes is, okay, so now it’s time to double down on that work, right?
But that may not be the answer. So what would you suggest is next when it comes to that scaling and sustainability?
Rosemary: Once
Quianna: you do, you
Rosemary: have identified what’s working, you need to figure out, is this, okay, doubling down doesn’t mean I have to do it or can someone else do it because scaling sometimes involves help, you can’t do everything by yourself, so sometimes it’s outsourcing slash delegating and finding out, okay, is this the best use of my time or could someone else do this?
I think that’s when you step into your CEO energy, And understand that you are the leader of your company and not the worker. And so sure, something needs to be done, but does it need to be done by you? Because it might not be your zone of genius. You doing it might actually slow you down. And so once you have noticed, okay, this is what needs to happen.
Now the next step is, so who has to do this? Do you have to do it or does someone else has to do it?
Quianna: Oh, I love that so much. And you know, it’s funny because even as you were explaining the audit. And I was thinking, gosh, there actually are a lot of things that I do in my business, whether that’s blogging, whether that is really engaging and spending time on social media.
Some of this stuff can be outsourced. Like some of that stuff absolutely can be, but there’s a lot of stuff that I do that only I could do, right? Even just having these podcast interviews. This is my face. This is my voice. You know, I’m growing with the business, but it can get overwhelming when it’s time to start outsourcing, right?
So what advice would you have for someone that feels like the idea of having somebody duplicate themselves, right? Or like, right. Like, I love that you mentioned that. Or having somebody. Take over some pieces of your business. What mindset shifts do we have to kind of get over? I say, there’s no other way to describe it or, you know, glow up to, to accept that help.
Rosemary: One thing that has helped me and I know many of my clients is to accept that done is better than perfect and that. Not just like for you, but just things that are going to be done by someone else, except that it’s not going to be perfect. It’s not going to be you because a lot of people tend to avoid outsourcing or delegating because they have this thing in their mindset that, you know, when you do something yourself, it is done better.
And so. When I outsource this, what if they mess it up? What if I have to micromanage them, blah, blah, blah. But once you let go that, you know, 70, 80 percent is good enough. You will be okay with it not being perfect, but then at least it would be done. And it will save you time and you get faster to, you know, the next step, which maybe will allow you to revise things and things will get better in the future.
Once it’s done once you can perfect it and then it can get it better. But a lot of people stand in their own ways by thinking, Oh no, if someone else does it, it will be a hot mess. And I have to go back and forth with them and I’ll end up wasting time. Sure. Maybe in the, in the beginning, but you won’t waste time forever.
So I think. Accepting the fact that nothing is perfect, even when it’s done by you, you know, it will be a lot easier to accept help from the outside and know that yes, when they do it, it might not be perfect as well. It’s totally okay. Like people aren’t going to hate you for that.
Quianna: Another thing that comes to mind when it comes to outsourcing and chatting about mindset, right, which is why I’m so grateful to have you as a part of this series.
It’s just in such alignment. I love it. But one of the things that comes to mind, even for myself, when it comes to making that next hire or investing in growing my team, is the thought that I, myself, may be a hot mess behind the scenes and getting somebody on board sounds like, it seems like more work, right?
It seems like more work to train somebody to kind of understand the inner workings of my head, like all those, the SOPs and all the behind the scenes checklist. That is like a mental block for me personally. If I’ve, I’ve experienced that in the past. So what advice do you have for someone like almost like.
The permission slip or the green light to say, no, actually, you’re going to see the light at the end of the tunnel once you start growing. I want to talk about that because I do feel that is a huge mindset shift where we feel like we can’t take someone on because it’s gonna, it’s gonna hold us back trying to train them.
Rosemary: One tip that I would share with anybody who wants to do this in the future now and is struggling is start documenting. Early on for yourself, even when you don’t have anybody yet in your team, you’re not yet outsourcing. Act as if you were, so create those SOPs, have a workflow, record yourself, and that could be recording yourself like camera on and sometimes it may be like, I’m using this new software and I will go on zoom or loom and record my screen and have a mic and actually speak and say, okay, now I’m going there as if someone is listening, because when I do plan to share it with someone from my team or a new person, they literally just have to watch that video and didn’t understand.
So I would say start, um, recording everything you do as if you had someone because it will be a lot easier for, for you to then help share it later, but also will help you to see how you do things, especially when everything is kind of like in your head and you’re struggling to. Delegate because or you’re afraid to delegate because you’re like, I don’t know how I’m going to explain this and I’ll waste more time trying to train the person and it’ll be a hot mess and it won’t get it, blah, blah, blah.
So start doing that for yourself first, and then you start to recognize some patterns. Maybe you’re doing things wrong or you’re making it harder for yourself. And so once you’re like, oh, it seems like I’m always doing this, but actually that’s not the right way of doing it. You can catch yourself and start solving that issue before you actually get people on board.
So that will be like a great tip for you. So a place to start. So once you have that, save that somewhere in a file for everything. So whether that’s email marketing, podcasting, everything, like every single step. And once you get someone on board, you can take them through it, let them watch it, and let them come back with any questions.
Try and see if I were to just give you this, how far along would you get with this? And then you can try and fill in the gaps.
Quianna: Yes, that is so helpful. And I love that. I feel like, especially when it comes to mindset and trying to reach those next big goals and trying to scale. I love the concept of acting as if right like so as if you do have that VA that you have been praying for or wanting to step into that CEO role.
I love that so much. And so that’s something that we can do today. That’s something that we can actually take action on and start recording those steps, right? You. Screen recording yourself, responding to an email, you’re, you know, creating, uh, even just a post on Instagram, right? Like, screen record what you’re doing and what you’re saying and just start documenting the journey so that when you are ready to take that next leap and to start growing your team, you already have a ton of information to help.
I love that. I
Rosemary: think a lot of people wait until they have the help to start. Making their back end more professional, quote unquote, but you can start doing that right now and prepare for the team that you’re looking for.
Quianna: Well, one thing you mentioned and I would love to circle back to it was the CEO energy and I am all about energy.
I’m all about just, you know, doing the work with a little bit of woo woo and all the magic in between. What is CEO energy mean to you? And how can we step into that energy for our business? Like you mentioned earlier, we don’t need to be employees of our business anymore. And I love that concept. So I want to kind of dig deeper into that.
What does that CEO energy mean to you, Rosemary?
Rosemary: It’s a becoming, right? Because it’s not something that you need to do necessarily in your business, but it’s almost putting on this armor of like, and it’s all mindset, right? It’s like, okay, I need to now be the person that I aspire to be. And that I say, I want to be and not wait till you, you have the things in your business that translates for you to become that person.
And so it is a lot of manifesting is it’s a, it is a lot of putting yourself out there and not waiting to be invited. For instance, I had this big epiphany a couple of months ago when I was like, Oh, wait a second, there’s a certain part of my business where I am waiting for. Others to invite me at the table, but I could be a trendsetter like I could totally just go out and credit you and maybe the person that invites other people.
And then I realized I’ve done this in the past. But just not in this setting. So why is it that I was waiting to be called in? And so those are some of the ways that you could be like, is there something that you have been dreaming of wanting, but you’re waiting to be invited in as if you know you are not worth being in that space.
Could you set, you know, the example? Could you be that leader? Could you be the person that sets the trend? And says, okay, this is what we’re going to do. And you be the person to invite others to join the conversation.
Quianna: I love that so much. I’m just getting full body chills over here because it’s true. It’s an embodiment.
It’s you deciding to take those risks and try new things. And I just love that so much. This was so good. Yes. Oh my gosh. Well, one thing I also want to chat with you about and something that you specialize in is talking about the significance of rest. Why is it that so many entrepreneurs and so many business owners are resistant to resting so we can put on I like how you had that visual like we can put on our cloak of that CEO energy and I don’t know why it gives us like a superpower to just keep going and write like audit our business and scale and grow and all these things are happening.
And yet we, we neglect our rest. So let’s talk about the power of resting.
Rosemary: I realized that a lot of us see rest as we work, right? We, it’s always been looked at as if, okay, if I work hard enough, then I can rest. I sleep so that I can come back harder. I, you know, so we never really see rest as something that you do just because.
I started looking at rest as a growth strategy. And so what I mean by that is that I became intentional with breaks. And so I used to have the tendency to, when things were hard, I would work harder. I would be like, let’s just push through this and we’ll make it work. So, you know, you have a looming deadline.
Obviously I’m not saying if you’re, you have a deadline, you should just ignore it and go to bed. But the thing is, giving the example, I think before we went on, I told you I had a flu last week, and I had lots of things scheduled, and so intentional breaks was like, okay, what can we take off this list?
Like, some things need to happen because there’s no way around it, but others, you know, I could just, you know, send a note and say, sorry, this is not happening, and I need my rest. And so I did that, but I know in the past, oh my God, that would have been horrible, I would have never even thought of that. The idea of it would just make me probably cry or something.
It would make you more sick. And so, yeah, yeah. So now, intentional breaks is part of my, it’s like calculated into my work. That means the weekend unplugging, non negotiable Fridays off, sabbatical vacations if you need to. It can look different for everybody. And I look at it like school, you know, you have school, spring breaks and all these things.
Put that into your work, even if you don’t have kids that are going to school. But if you need to have a break every six weeks, then plan it in. And don’t let rest be an afterthought. Don’t let rest be a reward. But let’s let rest be something that you do and that you, you know, you have in your schedule all the time.
And that could look like even having More white space in your calendar between calls and things like that, so you can be more strategic so you can step into that CEO energy as well. Because when you’re just in the doer, doer, doer mode, there’s no time for you to get creative. There’s no time for you to get strategic and do long term thinking, which is part of your CEO task.
And you know, and an identity. And so once you understand that rest is so important and it’s a growth strategy. It won’t be so hard to, to take rest. It’s, it will be just like another meeting or another task in your business. Right.
Quianna: I love that mindset shift of, of really identifying rest as productivity.
Like it actually is productivity for your life, for your business. It’s a source of rejuvenation, right? And I don’t know what it is. There’s something about. The thought of like, if anybody were to call me lazy, that would be like the biggest diss ever. Like, like, and I don’t know why I care so much about how people think I’m so productive or not, right?
I mean, on a personal note too, just to take a little side tangent story, even Mike, my boyfriend, right? So if I’ve had a really busy day and I mean, for me here in Arizona, if I’m clocking in at, in my head, I’m clocking in, if I’m starting my work at 5am in the morning, And right, taking a lunch break and getting some work done and around two, three o’clock in the afternoon, I’m done and I’m sitting on my, on the couch, right?
I’m sitting in my chair and he comes home. I, I heard the garage open. I feel this need to get up. Like, I just, I, like, I can’t be seen sitting down and like resting. And I don’t know where that’s rooted from. I don’t know if it’s part of our upbringing and just, I know everybody has different stories, but I just think that’s so insane.
Like we should be celebrated for kicking back a little bit. And, and I love how you mentioned actually putting it in your schedule, making that white space and that just breathing room for rest. This is just, this is so important. And to make it
Rosemary: non negotiable, like this is not. We cannot talk about is like, I remember recently I had a client who had to reschedule for whatever reason and we kept going back and forth and she’s like, Okay, what about Friday, and I could put a totally been like okay we’ve been going back and forth all the time.
This seems to be the only time that works. For her and call on Friday, but I know how it goes. You do just that one call. Then you’re like, well, I’m at it right now. So that’s something else comes up. And before you know it, you’ve been working a couple of hours on the day that you said you were going to rest.
And so I make it a non negotiable, like zero tolerance so that when I do decide to work, it’s more like I’m doing some creative work, like I’m doing something because It’s, it’s, it’s giving me juice, like I’m feeling super, uh, inspired about something and I get to do that because I had that white space in.
And so for me, I really want you to be non negotiable about your time. When you think about presidents and, you know, C suite leaders and managers, their time is protected. Like you can’t, the gatekeepers, they can’t even let you in. You can’t come and say, oh, can I have a quick meeting? There’s no quick meetings.
Transcribed by https: otter. ai It’s non negotiable. And so you need to have that as well. If it’s, I don’t have any meetings before 10 a. m. on Mondays, I actually don’t have, I rarely have external meetings on Mondays, but you need to have those things just like if you were, cause you are the CEO of your own company, but this huge company, uh, you know, fortune 500, you probably wouldn’t be able to have a meeting with the CEO on a Monday morning at 9 a.
m.
Quianna: No, I love this so much. And I do want to add too, cause I didn’t. I’ve been trying to address my patterns, right? And being a little bit more aware of how I’m spending my time lately. And I haven’t noticed too, on days that I, and I do air quotes, I intentionally have an off day, whether that’s a rest day, or even just for me being home and not having to leave the house is a rest day.
Like that’s amazing, right? Like that feels good. But I, I noticed that sometimes on those days where I have nothing to do and I’m, I’m intentional about resting. That’s when I find myself watching movies, playing on my phone, like that’s when the doom scrolling happens and I just have to say this out loud.
So really it’s a little reminder for myself on those days. I’m truly not resting because my mind is going right. I’m, I’m literally on a device. I’m on technology, whether it’s my phone or watching things on TV, just kind of feeling the noise. And it doesn’t allow my brain to truly rest because I’m constantly like any entrepreneur, any small business owner knows that when you’re on your phone, whether you’re, whether you’re working or not, you’re working, right?
Like, it’s like, Oh, don’t worry, I’m, I’m working, I’m looking up ideas, I’m checking out trends, or I’m getting inspired. Like we can make an excuse for anything on our phone when we’re an entrepreneur, right? But I will say that on the days that I literally am intentional about checking off my phone and not touching it.
That’s when I actually feel rested. That’s when I actually feel in tune with my body and just listening to what’s next, right? Like, what am I called to do next? And this is just a little plug as a reminder that when you do make that rest, when you do make that time, truly rest, like truly rest, or do something creative so it doesn’t feel like it’s sucking your energy.
Like a workday would
Rosemary: when I back when I had my I was working my 9 to 5 and also had my business. I also already had my non negotiable days off. So what I did is I would schedule them in just like a working like a 9 to 5 workday. So I would leave the house at the same time. I would normally leave the house.
Which meant that for everybody else in the house, I wasn’t at home, and so I was working, and that allowed me to, you know, go shopping, go get a massage, or whatever it is that I did that wasn’t sitting at home on my computer, because as you said, It’s very easy to just like, Oh, I have nothing to do. I’m just quickly going to check my website or whatever.
I’m just quickly going to check on Instagram before you know it. You’re like, Oh, maybe I should save this real. And maybe I’m going to do this. Oh, you know what? Let me put my tripod. Then before you know it, you’re actually working. So you need to know what it is that you need. And for a lot of some people, it means rest could be an active rest.
So it could be, you need to be more outdoors. You need to, um, do some creative activity, meet some friends, whatever it is that you need. And for some people it’s just sleeping. Knowing yourself will allow you to know what kind of rest you need today. And I say be different. Today you need this and another time you might need something else.
But by being intentional with it and knowing yourself, you will know that if maybe you stayed home, you wouldn’t be able to rest. You might have to do something else or scheduling those fun times, those moments. So have dates with your friends that day when you take a day time off, have that massage scheduled in, go to, you know, do your hair or whatever it is that you need.
Quianna: Yes. These are all so helpful reminders and I love the mention of get out of the house because even if you have just a pet at home, if you, you know, don’t have a family living with you for any reason, I mean, just the stuff in the home is going to talk to you, right? Like the, you know, your sheets need to be washed and the dishes in the sink.
Like, and that’s what I say, like these things in the house talk to you. It just, it, it gets overwhelming. So. Making that plan to physically leave either your home or your workspace, that’s huge. I want to like set that little reminder. So now that everybody I feel is on a really good page right now, feeling confident in their audit, feeling confident in their CEO strategy, and they are really implementing REST and adding that to their schedule.
But maybe there’s still a tinge of overwhelm. And maybe we feel like we’re a little bit Stuck in our business right now. And we’re not too sure what’s next, whether that is a revenue driving task or it is outsourcing. What’s the first thing you’d tell them to simplify and regain clarity.
Rosemary: I want to say when you’re overwhelmed, chances are you’re doing too much, right?
So what are you doing that needs to be stopped? Is there something we could stop doing? Or can we stop doing everything just for a moment? For me, let’s say a couple of months ago, that was Instagram. That was social media. I was overwhelmed and I was like, okay, I need to take a break. And I wanted to kind of plan it and batch, blah, blah, blah.
And I was like, no, I’m not going to do that. I’m just going to take a break. I’m not going to announce it. I’m just going to go away and we’ll see when I come back and see if that makes a difference. And I decided not to come back to Instagram. Sometimes you just need to take a break from whatever it is that you’re doing and you need to start eliminating.
You need to start removing things. It’s like clothes, right? So if you have too many clothes, you’re like, I have nothing to wear. I have nothing to wear. It’s often not true. We have tons of things to wear, but it’s like, you don’t know what you have. And so the first step is to declutter by just throwing everything on the bed and say, what do I have go through all this stuff?
And once you’ve gone through it, you’re like, okay, Oh, I didn’t even know I had this. So this is too small. This is too old or whatever. And then taken away. And once you have what’s left. You can decide if it sparks joy, as Marie Kondo would say, does it spark joy? At times we feel much better and we, you know, you can wear the clothes that make you feel good.
So it’s the same for your business. When you feel overwhelmed, it’s most likely that you have way too much things going on. So remove, remove, remove. And if you don’t know what to remove, just stop altogether.
Quianna: I love that so much. That is such a beautiful reminder. And I love a good story. I love a good.
example. And it’s so true, right? And I, and I feel like even myself, I am a victim of that, like of just idea overload. I have too many options. I can take my business in so many different directions, which is such a beautiful gift. Like it is, it is something that I recognize is an honor, like is actually a huge gift for my business, for my life.
And it can also be paralyzing because there are too many options. So just like you mentioned our closet that is just Let’s pack to the brim with stuff. Let’s lay it all out and pick and choose what’s, and now I’m putting my business hat on, what’s actually driving revenue, what’s actually moving the needle, what is, you know, helping you grow.
And. And expand. So I love this conversation so much. You
Rosemary: know, sometimes we’re just so busy working on the things that are nice to have to make us look as if we’re working, but actually are not doing anything for our business. So I think clarity drives, you know, um, growth, just knowing what’s going on in your business and having everything laid down and you will be able to identify what’s working and you can pause everything else.
And, you know, At times when I’m like, Oh, I could do this. I could do that. I could do this. Yes. And I remind myself that everything works as long as you work it. So it’s, there’s no such thing as this being better than this. It just means, you know, which one do I feel like choosing right now and just make that decision and go with it for the next.
You know, 90 days and see how that blows, collect data. And then you can make this informed decision instead of just like, Oh, it’s not working. Or maybe I should do this because this person is doing that.
Quianna: I love this. Well, I love a good action list. And I love just like all that accountability. So you have a harmony blueprint.
And so I’d love to chat a little bit about that and how listeners can. Gain access to that and learn more because I, I love this conversation and this is something that business owners all need a little reality check in like any time of the year.
Rosemary: I love the work life harmony blueprint that I created because as entrepreneurs, besides our business, we have so much else going on and it can be overwhelming.
This guide was really created to help us, you know, simplify so that we can scale it. And so it will help us create the balance without overworking and also just give you actionable steps to really reclaim your time and energy. Um, you can get it. Uh, I can share the link with you. You can leave it in the description.
And it’s free and it has a great tips to help you work through it and journaling prompts as well. And there’s also an audit insights to help you figure out, okay, what am I doing currently in my business that is maybe slowing me down that is not. Moving the needle and helping me scale.
Quianna: Incredible. What a gift to share with listeners.
I’m so grateful for that. Thank you, Rosemary. And how can we connect with you?
Rosemary: Thank you so much for having me with such a lovely conversation. I am on Instagram, even though I’m not posting there, but I’m always up for a quick chat in the DMs, a voice note or anything. I really, I love that. So you can just send me a DM at rosemary.
Did they, uh, on Instagram and my website is rosemarydayday. com. So that’s my name. And the day is DEDE.
Quianna: I love that. Oh my gosh. Well, one question I can’t have you leave yet. I have one question that I love to ask all of my guest speakers and special guests. What is one key tip that you would like to share with entrepreneurs today?
Something that you wish you knew sooner or you just have to share right now? One thing that I wish I knew
Rosemary: sooner is that there’s no one right strategy, right? Everything works as long as you work it. And so it would have helped me to stop obsessing about so many things. Oh, maybe I should do this and maybe I should do that.
Whether it’s Instagram or, you know, should you be on this platform or that platform? Is this website better than the other or whatever it is? It doesn’t really matter. It what matters is what works for you. And so if I could give any advice to someone who’s starting or who’s trying to scale and thinking, oh.
What should I do right now? My business, again, just look at what, what works best for you, your brain, the way you like to work and let go of everything else, because there’s no such thing as a wrong decision. Everything has comes with lessons. And so you’re always winning.
Quianna: Yes. Oh, what a great key tip. I feel like that’s something that we all needed to hear today, especially scrolling era and playing that comparison game.
And. Really just being bombarded with so much information. It can be really overwhelming to kind of pick through and decide, but that’s the beauty of it, right? Like we just get to pick a lane, go commit to it for the next 90 days, the next six months, whatever. And like you said, take notes. And collect as much debt, like data as we can, and we’re golden.
I love it so much. Well, thank you so much, Rosemary, for this chat. It was such an honor to meet you. You are so far away from Arizona. Where are you located by the way? I had to say.
Rosemary: in Belgium in Europe right now.
Quianna: That is amazing. And is that where you originally from? Are you currently traveling there right now?
What’s going on?
