Thank you Haylee Gaffin, owner and creator of Gaffin Creative and Mic Check Society for hosting such an incredible event! It truly was an honor to attend and help capture content for this memorable retreat. We learned a ton about marketing our podcasts, pitching to brands and special guests as well as pitching ourselves as speakers to appear on other podcasts.

The Mic Check Retreat covers an in-person event for podcasters aiming to grow and improve their shows. Held in Chattanooga, the retreat featured speakers, collaborative sessions, and content creation opportunities. Key takeaways included the importance of community, continuous learning from peers, and maximizing content creation at live events. Haylee Gaffin also reflected on lessons learned, such as restructuring the event for better pacing and logistical improvements for future retreats. The 2025 retreat is already in the works with a focus on refined execution.
