Dear Thomas,

Who would have ever thought we could be a match? You’re the realist and I’m the day dreamer. You’re the introvert and I’m the extrovert. You love hot sauce and I can barely stand a smear of mustard. You see the glass half full and I ask where the water came from so I can fill it myself. You have dozens of close friends and I only have 3 best friends that live hundreds and even thousands of miles away. You love to watch golf on TV and I would rather take a nap. Yet, I couldn’t ever imagine life without you.

Thank you for being the beard to my brunette. My motivation and inspiration. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and always knowing when I need to drink water or have a snack before I turn hangry… How do you even know before it happens?!

Thank you for challenging me and pushing me to be a better person and  a better business woman, while still praising me and celebrating our successes as we grow together. Thank you for calling it like it is and opening my eyes to things the way they are, instead of how I imagine or they should be.

Thank you for working hard to play harder. I am so excited for this new chapter in our lives as we are growing and saving, but still making time to enjoy the little things. Dancing with you on dirt roads under the stars, washing your new truck in the drive way, and your warm bear hugs with sweet forehead kisses are a my favorite.
